‘Have you no balls, Sir?’ Class goes out the window with CNN’s S.E. Cupp

CNN’ S.E. Cupp, an alleged conservative with a national platform to trash all things Trump, proved that when it comes to undermining President Trump and his agenda, there’s no room for class.

Jeff Sessions has declared his candidacy for the Senate seat he relinquished to take the Attorney General job in the Trump administration, challenging Democratic Sen. Doug Jones in a deep-red state that Sessions is sure to win, and the Never Trump brigade is beside itself.

In a focus on Session’s first campaign ad, Cupp declared, “Have you no balls, sir?”

Citing “humiliating insults” Trump allegedly directed at Sessions that she declared to be fact, Cupp took issue because Sessions did not trash the president.

President Trump called him weak, confused, ineffective, and allegedly called him a dumb southerner and, according to the New York Times’ an idiot to his face. How has he responded to the humiliating insults? Take a look,” she said in setting up the ad.

Never mind that the president has denied these allegations, even taking to Twitter to respond.

After playing the campaign ad, which Cupp described as “pathetic,” she then set up a clip of Trump commenting on Sessions getting into the race.

Here is what the groveling and preening got him from the president,” the CNN host said.

Trump was non-committal in the short clip, though he offered no signs of resistance to Sessions running.

“When I left President Trump’s cabinet did I write a tell-all book? No. Did I ago on CNN and attack the president? Nope. Have I said a cross word about our president? Not one time,” Sessions said in the ad.

“First, that would be dishonorable. I was there to serve his agenda, not mine,” he added. “Second, the president’s doing a great job for America and Alabama, and he has my strong support.”

Sessions joins a long line of GOP heavyweights who have groveled at the feet of the president despite being personally insulted and humiliated by him,” Cupp said, seething in anger at the missed opportunities to undermine Trump.

She went on to list a few of Trump’s transgressions, largely from the 2016 Republican primary, that involved Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Ted Cruz, R-Texas.

“And all three have lined up behind Trump to shield him from oversight and defend his regular abuses of power,” Cupp opined. “And for what? We’ll have to see what this grand bargain gets them in the end.”

Bringing in panelists Aisha Moodie-Mills and John Brabender, Cupp then made a reference to Session’s testicles on national television — This. Is. CNN.

“You know what I want to say to Jeff Sessions: ‘Have you no balls, sir? Where are your balls?’ That ad was pathetic,” she said, proud of herself for uttering crass words sure to deliver desperately-needed notoriety.

Following Cupp’s lead — and ensuring future appearances — Moodie-Mills said, “I think he was completely emasculated. I don’t want a leader to be a punk. Stand up and have some conviction and some backbone.”

So proud of herself, Cupp also took to social media to repeat her focus on Session’s genitals.

She tweeted: “Nowhere is the lack of testicular fortitude more apparent in the GOP than in [Jeff Session’s] groveling, pathetic “be nice to me!” campaign ad. Republicans, especially those who’ve been humiliated by Trump, please grow a pair.”

Of course, the source for such anxiety from CNN personalities is the very real chance that Sessions will take the Senate seat back from Jones, dealing Democrats a major loss in their hopes of retaking the upper chamber of Congress.
