On Sunday morning, President Donald Trump announced that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), was killed during a “daring and dangerous” raid by U.S. troops.

Later that same day, the president and and First Lady Melania Trump were greeted with a chorus of boos at Game 5 of the Nationals-Astros World Series in Washington, DC.

Given that the game was in D.C., a very liberal town, it comes as little surprise that the crowd might be hesitant to give Trump his due for scoring a major victory in the war against Islamic extremism, but to see the president’s critics zero in on Trump’s son, Barron, is something to behold.

(The young Trump has grown quite a bit since his father took office, towering well over 6 feet tall, even though he’s just 13 years old.)

So consumed in their hatred of the president, it wasn’t enough to see Trump booed on national television as some fans chanted “lock him up.” Many took to Twitter to continue the attack because Trump attended the World Series without Barron.

Never mind that the young boy may not be a baseball fan, or simply did not want to attend a game that started after 8 p.m. Barron Trump is seldom seen in the limelight and the family goes to great lengths to protect him from a liberal media that knows few limits in their quest to destroy his father.

Recall the fake severed Trump head drenched in blood — not exactly a warming image for a young boy to see of his father. Barron was 11 years old when comedian Kathy Griffin pulled that stunt.

There was no shortage of tweets looking to exploit Barron’s absence as a means to smear President Trump:

Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, replied to the tweet from Anderson, a former Democratic candidate for Congress, to say that the president knew the liberal crowd would likely react as they did and did not want to subject young Barron to that.

Suffice it to say, Trump Jr. was livid.

Not that there wasn’t support for Trump’s decision, as seen here:
