While her Democrat peers in Congress have been busy obsessing over the whistleblower non-scandal and pushing for President Donald Trump’s impeachment, Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris has been busy obsessing over someone else.
In a stunning op-ed published on Friday in the far-left magazine Elle, the senator declared that it’s time to impeach … Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“If we want to live in a country where women are believed and given access to the justice they deserve, we must roll up our sleeves and get to work holding our leaders accountable — especially those who serve on the highest court in our land,” the op-ed reads. “We need to get to the truth about Kavanaugh. And I believe the best path to truth and accountability is through a formal impeachment process.”
She then pivoted slightly to the president, writing that though the House Judiciary Committee is currently busy haranguing the president over debunked allegations that he pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky into investigating former Vice President Joe Biden, the committee ought to make some time “to open an impeachment inquiry” into Kavanaugh.
“We have a responsibility not just as public servants, but as mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, and fellow humans to hold people accountable for wrongdoing,” she wrote. “Failure to do so sends a message to little girls and boys — and women and men — about the value of truth and honesty, and about their right to safety and autonomy. If we stand idly by, we are telling them that our country values the easy way out over doing the right thing.”
As proof of her commitment to these alleged values, she linked readers to a copy of a letter she’d sent earlier this month to House Judiciary Committee chair Rep. Jerry Nadler.
“I write to urge the House Judiciary Committee to take appropriate action to investigate recent reports about Associate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and to hold Mr. Kavanaugh accountable for his prior conduct and testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee,” the letter reads.

Harris either purposefully or accidentally failed to mention that the “recent reports” about Kavanaugh have already been debunked — much like the original accusations.
Published Sunday, Sept. 15, one report from The New York Times accused Kavanaugh of having once thrust his penis in the face of a woman at a college party. The accusation was based on the words of Max Stier, an attorney who’d previously served on then-President Bill Clinton’s impeachment defense team.
The Times’ smear piece didn’t list Stier’s history. Instead it described him as simply someone who “runs a nonprofit organization in Washington.”
Now fast-forward to Sunday evening, when the Times issued a stunning correction admitting that the actual victim who’d allegedly experienced the alleged assault/harassment couldn’t corroborate it:
So…alleged victim would not speak to the @nytimes AND doesn’t recall this alleged incident? But the paper didn’t include this sort-of crucial information.

This incident was mentioned in Harris’s latter but without the context supplied above. So was an incident involving Deborah Ramirez, one of the original accusers. Except once again, the senator failed to supply the most important facts, which were that the Times had been unable to corroborate her allegations when they first emerged in fall of 2018.

While it’s unclear whether the omission of these facts in the 2020 contender’s letter was deliberate, many believe it was indeed intentional. The general consensus is that both the letter to Nadler and her op-ed in Elle are just desperate stunts designed to boost her dwindling poll numbers.
“Ever since @TulsiGabbard humiliated @KamalaHarris & threw ice-cold water on her presidential dreams at the July 31st Democrat debate, @SenKamalaHarris has just gotten more desperate & is flailing,” one social media critic opined. “And she probably wouldn’t even show up to work for the Kavanaugh impeachment trial.”
During the July 31st Democrat primary debate, candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard ruthlessly confronted Harris over her record as a former prosecutor.
By the time of the debate, Harris was polling at an average of 10.8 percent, according to data maintained by RealClearPolitics. As of Sept. 28, she was down to a record campaign low of 4.7 percent and dropping, in large part — or so critics claim — because of the July 31st confrontation.
Because of this never-ending drop, it’s hard to argue against the claim that her newfound campaign against Kavanaugh is nothing but a desperate bid for attention:

The claims made by the latter two Twitter users were accurate. Supreme Court Justice Ruth has praised Kavanaugh’s character, and Kavanaugh will indeed not be impeached.
