Brutal campaign ad shreds Biden, Dems and media after Hillary calls Trump ‘illegitimate president’

President Donald Trump released a campaign ad on Friday afternoon that accuses Democrats of working in tandem with the left-wing media to “steal” the 2020 presidential election.

The ad begins by drawing attention to 2020 contender Joe Biden’s alleged corruption in Ukraine: “Joe Biden promised Ukraine $1 billion if they fired the prosecutor investigating his son’s company.”

Watch:

The story goes like this: When the 2014 Ukrainian revolution broke out, then-VP Biden traveled to Kiev to work with the new government. But three weeks after his arrival, the scandal- and corruption-plagued natural gas company Burisma hired his son Hunter.

It was a shocking move given Hunter’s lack of experience. According to ABC News reporter Tom Llamas, he suddenly went from being “discharged from the Navy Reserves for testing positive for cocaine” to earning “more than a million dollars a year.”

Even more shocking was what allegedly occurred two years later, when Biden returned to Ukraine and threatened to revoke $1 billion in potential foreign aid unless the nation’s leaders fired their top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin — who, it just so happened, had been investigating Burisma at the time.

“I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a b****. He got fired,” Trump’s ad shows Biden openly admitting.

This potential scandal rose to the forefront of the nation’s consciousness this month after reports emerged of a whistleblower complaint alleging that, during a phone call over the summer, the president pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky into investigating Biden over what happened in 2016.

But instead of demanding answers of the former VP, Democrats and their media allies began demanding answers of Trump. And when the president and his administration replied with those answers, they said the answers weren’t good enough.

“[W]hen President Trump asks Ukraine to investigate corruption, the Democrats want to impeach him, and their media laptops fall in line. They lost the election; now, they want to steal this one. Don’t let them,” Trump’s latest campaign ad concludes.

Democrats wound up launching a formal impeachment inquiry against the president despite evidence showing that the call made by him over the summer wasn’t nefarious in any way, shape or form.

A transcript of the call released by the White House this week shows that the president never pressured Zelensky to investigate Biden over possible corruption. He merely asked him to consider looking into the alleged corruption.

Democrats and their media allies believe otherwise, though both Zelensky and Trump have disputed this, with the Ukrainian president claiming his U.S. counterpart exerted no pressure over him and the president claiming his request had been about rooting out corruption, not hurting Biden.

The insistent, stubborn refusal by Democrats and their media allies to acknowledge the actual facts raises questions regarding their motivation. What is it exactly they seek? According to the president, it’s to “steal” the 2020 election by essentially knocking the GOP front runner out of the race.

While there’s no way to really confirm the left’s true intentions, the evidence does point to attempts by them to alter the next election. Note for instance their calls to abolish the Electoral College and remove Trump from the ballot.

Evidence also shows attempts by the left to essentially roll back the results of the 2016 presidential election. From protesting his inauguration to peddling the now-wholly debunked Russia collusion delusion conspiracy theory and referring to Trump as America’s “illegitimate president,” the left has made it clear it doesn’t accept the results of the election.

Ironically, this week failed 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton accused Trump of stealing the 2016 election, despite there not being even a shred of evidence to suggest this is true.

(Note: The tweet above was shared by former Democrat National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile, who in 2017 admitted that she’d helped Clinton cheat during a 2016 election Democrat primary debate.)

“[H]e knows he’s an illegitimate president,” Clinton reportedly said in a CBS interview to be aired Sunday. “I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories — he knows that — there were just a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did.”

So-called “voter suppression” refers to the justified implementation of voter ID laws, while so-called “voter purging” refers to the justified elimination of illegal aliens and the deceased from voter rolls.

As for Clinton’s complaints about “hacking,” it’s unclear why the president deserves blame for her incompetence — not to mention the incompetence of her allies at the Democrat National Committee.

What’s known is that during Trump’s call with Zelensky over the summer, he inquired about this hacking and asked the Ukrainian president to look into it.

And as for “false stories,” Politico confirmed in 2017 that during the 2016 election, corrupt Ukrainian government officials had helped Clinton and undermined Trump “by publicly questioning his fitness for office.”

“They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election,” the report reads. “And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers.”
