DiGenova reveals Soros ties to complaint: ‘This whistleblower needs to go to prison’

Joe diGenova thinks the whistleblower at the center of the latest controversy to oust President Trump belongs in jail.

The New York Times partly revealed the identity of the whistleblower who claimed Trump had an inappropriate conversation with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Said whistleblower was a CIA officer who was detailed to the White House, and currently still works at the CIA.

More troubling is the fact that the whistleblower is being represented by lawyer Andrew Bakaj. As BPR reported, Bakaj has deep ties to the Democrat Party and interned for Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton in 2001.

His powerful representation didn’t scare off diGenova, who unloaded on the current scandal.

“Joe Biden shook down the Ukrainian government. It’s very simple,” diGenova said on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity Tonight” on Thursday.

“And they lied about Victor Shokin being corrupt … His son’s lawyers come in after Mr. Shokin is fired and apologized after records obtained from that law firm to Mr. Shokin and his representatives were having lied about him — this was a set-up.”

“What we’re now seeing is the Democratic Party trying to cover that up and therefore you have the whistleblower in the White House come forward, who actually knows nothing and has created a document with the help of lawyers from other people,” diGenova continued.

“This whistleblower needs to go to prison. He doesn’t need to be feted,” he added.

Remarkably, the whistleblower didn’t directly hear the phone call between Trump and Zelensky, but relied on hearsay. Congressman Devin Nunes raged against the shoddy source and cabal of leakers in the White House during a heated House Intel Committee hearing on Thursday.

“The released transcript of that call has already debunked that central assertion, but that didn’t matter. The Democrats simply moved the goalposts and began claiming that there doesn’t need to be a quid pro quo for this conversation to serve as the basis for impeaching the president,” Nunes said.

DiGenova’s wife, attorney Victoria Toensing, couldn’t resist adding her two cents on the whistleblower too.

“I want to jump here. How does that work?” she began.

“On these false statements how did that work?” Toensing said.

“U.S. and other people made false statements about him. Yeah, that was George Soros funded NGOs who were also in bed with the State Department,” she continued. “My last point here. The whistleblower sprinkles throughout his document footnotes referring to a publication with the initials OCCRP.  One guess, Sean, who funds OCCRP?”

“George Soros.”

DiGenova couldn’t agree more.

“Soros’s dirty money is all over this story,” he said.

OCCRP refers to Stands for Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project. And who better to fund a “crime and corruption” project than the Open Society Foundation, that’s lead by Soros?

When the transcript of the phone call between Trump and Zelensky was released it didn’t prove a “quid pro quo” as alleged by Dems. House Intel Committee Chair Adam Schiff and his partisan hack cohorts have moved the goalposts ever since to hold onto to something, anything to nail Trump.

During Thursday’s intel hearing, Schiff remarkably fabricated a make-believe dialogue between Trump and Zelensky — even though the transcript is public.

Later when he was called out for the despicable stunt, Schiff claimed he was doing “parody.”

Now that, you can’t make up.
