If you thought the Ukraine whistleblower controversy could not get any more partisan, be forewarned.
The Federalist is reporting that one of the people hired to be on the anonymous whistleblower’s legal team — which many expect is a move made in preparation of a House testimony — is a very clear ally to the Democrat Party.
Andrew Bakaj, a managing partner at Compass Rose Legal Group, has ties that run deep into the Democrat Party. He interned for Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton in 2001. Bakaj reportedly specializes in whistleblower and security clearance law.

Bakaj’s client filed a complaint accusing President Donald Trump of inappropriate communications with foreign officials. One of those communications is a phone call where Trump allegedly tried pressuring the Ukrainian president into giving him dirt on Joe Biden.
Trump released the transcript from the call, which proves there was no illegal action taken. He has asked for an apology for Democrats, who seem to have found their new obsession as an impeachment inquiry was announced this week by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat who was previously colder than others to the idea of seeking impeachment.
A Ukrainian official has also come forward to defend the phone call and say nothing inappropriate occurred. The actual complaint filed by the whistleblower is expected to be released by the White House in the coming days.
What is being ignored by Democrats in this whole mess is the fact that Joe Biden has long been accused of using his former power as vice president to pressure Ukrainian officials when a business his son Hunter worked for was being investigated. Though Biden claims to have never talked to his son about his overseas business dealings, a past comment by his son contradicts this claim.
Discovering that the whistleblower’s legal team contains someone with such obvious ties to the Democrat Party also feeds into accusations that these Trump attacks over his nothing phone call are a way to distract from the fact that many Democrats may be trying to help cover up the corruption of top officials like Biden from the Obama administration.
Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, took to Twitter to put Democrats on blast and to call for people like Joe Biden and Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy to be investigated for their ties to Ukraine and Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings.

“Democrat party is covering up a pattern of corruption involving high level members of the Obama cabinet. The multi-million and billion dollar pay-for-play is mind boggling. Biden Family sale of office to Ukraine was not the only one or the most egregious. Slimy Joe is not alone,” Giuliani tweeted.
The former New York City mayor has been accused by Democrats of being ordered by the State Department to find dirt on Biden, something he denied in an explosive appearance on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.”
