Dobbs believes ‘Master of the Twitterverse’ Trump on Ukraine call: ‘He said it was perfect!’

During a discussion Tuesday night, Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs and Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro teamed up to excoriate the Democrats and their media allies for their latest joint attempt to destroy President Donald Trump.

Dobbs started the discussion by praising the president for successfully using Twitter to push back against the left’s false narratives.

“The president, as always, he is the master of the Twitterverse,” Dobbs said. “Nailing it. It’s exactly what it is — upstaging the president and without any evidence, without any knowledge, they just press on.”

After Democrats launched a formal impeachment inquiry against him Tuesday afternoon, the president posted a lengthy series of tweets blasting them for distracting from his successful appearances at the U.N. General Assembly, for essentially inventing a scandal out of nothing and for ignoring the real scandal surrounding 2020 contender former Vice President Joe Biden:

Pirro responded to Dobbs’ remarks by pointing out how the exact same thing seems to happen every time the president is busy accomplishing something substantive for the American people.

“Every time the president is doing something favorable to the American people, somebody writes an article ‘closing in on Donald Trump,’ ‘Mueller closing in,’ ‘the Russian connection — closing in.’ This is part of their philosophy. This is what they do,” she said.

“This is what they do to try to cover up everything he’s doing and then try to cultivate this feeling that he needs to be impeached. And what happened today was disgusting. Nobody knows what was said.”

Earlier Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi launched a formal impeachment inquiry against the president based on an unsubstantiated, media-crafted conspiracy theory regarding the allegedly illegal things he’d said to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a phone call this summer.

However, Dobbs fervently disagreed with Pirro’s own assessment of the mysterious call.

“We do [know what was said],” he argued. “The president said what was said. He said it was perfect. And you know what he said? He said somebody needs to look into Biden. And he’s right on both counts. And the suggestion that no one knows, the president’s told us.”

The president has claimed that his call with Zelensky was “pitch perfect.” And though he’s admitted that he used the call to broach the topic of Biden’s alleged corruption, he’s maintained that he made no attempts to pressure the Ukrainian president into taking action against the 2020 contender. Moreover, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko has confirmed that these claims are true.

“I know what the conversation was about, and I think there was no pressure,” he said in a statement over the weekend. “There was talk. Leaders have the right to discuss any problems that exist. This conversation was long, friendly, and it touched on a lot of questions, including those requiring serious answers.”

Pirro responded by conceding Dobbs’ point but noting that she’d merely been speaking about what the Democrats believe. She added that the upcoming scheduled release of the phone call’s transcript Wednesday by the Trump administration will likely do nothing to stop the insanity.

“Once he gives the transcript … then they’re going to run around like they did with Mueller, and Russia, Russia, Russia, racism, racism, recession, and now it’s going to be Ukraine,” she said.

Even after former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation effectively exonerated the president of collusion and obstruction, Democrats continued drumming up the collusion and obstruction narratives.

Case in point:

In fact, to this day some Democrats still claim Trump colluded with Russia.

After the collusion/obstruction narrative formally fell apart, Democrats and their media allies tried accusing the president of being a racist. Then they tried accusing him of leading America toward another recession. And now they’re accusing him of trying to collude with Ukraine to hurt Biden in the 2020 election. It’s as if the cycle has come full circle.

Dobbs continued the discussion by laying out what he believes to be the root driver of this endless cycle.

“The radical Dems have no path to victory electorally, so what are they going to do?” he said. “What they always do. They’re going to resort to politics of personal destruction. And the left-wing media is responsible for not calling them on it.”

“Well, they’re complicit with them,” Pirro replied. “I mean, that’s what I was saying. Whenever the president has something positive to say about the American people, that was when the media came out and said ‘they’re closing in on him.'”

Why? Because, Dobbs concluded, Democrats are the party of hate and destruction.

“They are not only the party of hate, they are the party of destruction,” he said. “They destroy value, they destroy wealth and they destroy opportunities, all of which this president has created, generated and brought back in a period of prosperity that could last, I don’t see a horizon of limits on that prosperity. As long as he is in office.”
