With only about a week remaining until she embarks on another book tour, failed 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has reportedly begun telling fans and supporters of her Onward Together PAC that she’d “like to hear what you’re thinking.”
“In an email to supporters, the 2008 and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate said, ‘I’d like to hear what you’re thinking,'” the Washington Examiner reported Monday.
“While she isn’t talking about running for president for a third time, Clinton said that she has been talking to people about key issues, including immigration reform and electing Democrats ‘at all levels’ in 2020.”
The email was reportedly sent from the email account of Onward Together, a political action committee formed two years ago by Clinton to raise money for “progressive” causes …

“I’ve been traveling and talking with folks around the world about their plans for the rest of the year,” the email reportedly reads. “Some members of this team are doubling down on issues from voting rights to immigration reform, while others are focused on electing Democrats at all levels in 2019 and 2020.”
“Like you, they’re all thinking about how we can best work toward making our country a place where the values we share are front and center — in our policy and in the way we treat each other.”
The Examiner has described the email as an attempt by the failed nominee to launch a “listening tour.”

“Hillary Rodham Clinton made listening tours famous, using them to build buzz for her New York Senate and presidential campaigns,” its report reads. “Now, she’s on another.”
And the timing seems suspicious to some, given as Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea, are slated to release their first book together next Tuesday.
Oh please! Listening? Bill’s Wife listens to everyone OTHER THAN the average legal American citizen. As usual this is all about her. ?https://t.co/jHUD4jRzNi

“Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton have teamed up for ‘The Book of Gutsy Women,’ honoring everyone from scientist Marie Curie to climate activist Greta Thunberg,” the Associated Press reported earlier in the summer.
“Simon & Schuster announced … that the book will come out Oct. 1. It’s the first time the former secretary of state and presidential candidate has written a book with her daughter.”
Oct. 1 will also mark the first day of the duo’s new book tour.
Clinton has been promoting the book nonstop this month:
.@ChelseaClinton and I had a lot of conversations about this:
What does it mean to be a gutsy woman?
It’s about never giving up—and working to pave the way for the next generation:https://t.co/DOhSrVq9SC pic.twitter.com/DK5CpTh8F0

.@GretaThunberg—one of my favorite gutsy women—will help lead global climate strikes that start tomorrow.
“I want you to act as if our house is on fire,” she has said. “Because it is.”

The first tweet above contains a video clip of Clinton speaking with Chelsea about the book. In the clip, Chelsea says she believes being gutsy means “having a clear sense of purpose and then having the perseverance and just the refusal to give up.”
Clinton responds by saying she believes gutsy women are those “who faced obstacles and kept going and they could see what a difference it might make in their own lives and even more broadly.”
“We’re in favor of people who are gusty not only because they want to achieve something but because they want to pave the way for others who are going to come behind,” she added.
Juanita Broadrick, one of several women who’ve accused Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, of sexual harassment and rape, was not impressed by this rhetoric.
“Give me a damn break, Hilly,” she wrote in response to the video. “You wouldn’t know gutsy if it kicked you in the A$$. You’ve been shielded and protected all your life. Be assured, I will never give up telling the world about you and your rapist husband. I’m still here.”
She’s long accused the failed Democrat nominee and former secretary of state of having tried to intimidate her to keep her silent about Bill Clinton’s alleged transgressions.
