Judge to protesters accused of assaulting cops at Straight Pride Parade: ‘Stay out of Boston’

The reportedly Antifa-affiliated thugs who disrupted the “Straight Pride” parade in Boston over the weekend and were charged for attacking police officers just got some bad news.

Despite a demand by Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins that the thugs be shown leniency, Boston Municipal Court Judge Richard J. Sinnott chose to lay down the law.

“Again and again, as protesters arrested at the Straight Pride Parade in Boston came before a judge Tuesday, a Suffolk County prosecutor asked for leniency — for dismissal of the charges or release without bail,” The Boston Globe reported. “And again and again, Boston Municipal Court Judge Richard J. Sinnott said no.”

Rollins is a far-left Democrat, surprise surprise. In fact, she’s one of two local officials who filed a lawsuit against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement back in April. Sinnott meanwhile is unaffiliated, though he was reportedly nominated to his post two years ago by then-Republican Gov. Charlie Baker.

According to the Boston Herald, the judge also did something else Tuesday: He told the Antifa protesters to get the hell out and stay out of either Boston altogether or just downtown Boston.

Three of the 18 anti-Straight Pride Parade protesters being arraigned Tuesday were ordered to ‘stay out of Boston’ by a judge who said he wouldn’t even allow one of them to visit relatives in Jamaica Plain,” the Herald reported.

“Benjamin Boyd, Kenneth Kraft Jr. and Timothy ‘Sage’ Rego were each arraigned on charges including assault and battery on a cop. All pleaded not guilty to shoving cops at the parade. Kraft is from Bethlehem, Pa. The other two are from Providence.”

All three were reportedly accused of assault and battery against local police officers.

The other Antifa thugs who were arraigned Tuesday — all of them locals, it would appear — were reportedly merely told to stay out of downtown Boston.

While Sinnott’s stunning ruling has garnered him widespread praise from conservatives fed up with the left’s growing lawlessness, it’s also attracted the ire of Rollins.

On Wednesday she reportedly filed an emergency petition requesting that the state’s Supreme Judicial Court intervene in the matter and force Sinnott to let the Antifa-affiliated thugs off the hook.

This isn’t the first time that the far-left Democrat prosecutor has put herself on the line to defend criminals and thugs. Earlier this year she instituted a policy that essentially made it legal for locals to shoplift, much to the chagrin of local retailers.

“The Retailers Association of Massachusetts is slamming Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins’ decision to not prosecute shoplifting — saying the lack of deterrence for criminals makes it ‘open season on our retail stores’ — and wants a meeting with her on the issue,” the Herald reported in May.

However, while campaigning for office last year, Rollins also vowed to not prosecute trespassing, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, receiving stolen property, drug possession and a whole host of other crimes:

It’s unclear why Rollins and other Democrats like socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (the latter of who’s been raising money for the Antifa-affiliated thugs in Boston) are so hellbent on defending, helping and literally giving money to criminals.

What’s known is whereas Sinnott is being praised relentlessly by everyday Americans, Rollins is being savagely excoriated for acting like she’s a defense attorney versus a prosecutor:
