Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s announced decision Thursday to bar Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., from entering his country is drawing condemnation from the Council on American-Islamic Relations as the group takes a stand in support of the radical lawmakers.
The decision to block the first two Muslim women elected to Congress was reportedly due to their support for the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement. In July, Omar introduced a pro-BDS resolution in the House in support of the right to boycott that was co-sponsored by Tlaib.
It’s official: Israel will bar Congresswomen @RashidaTlaib and @IlhanMN from entering Israel due to "suspected provocations and promotion of BDS” at this time the final decision is been drafted and passed for comments before a press release. https://t.co/YikKaKe97g

Both women have a rich history of anti-Semitic rhetoric, with Omar, a refugee from Somalia, leading the way — their hatred for Israel is nearly impossible to miss.
The decision to bar the women followed a tweet from President Donald Trump urging Israel not to allow them in.
Trump tweeted: “It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep. Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in office. They are a disgrace!”

Naturally, Democrats and their liberal media allies responded to the decision by blaming Trump. And Islamophobia. And sexism.
Anything to distract from their planned itinerary, which did not even recognize Israel, as the Democrats opted to call the excursion a trip to Palestine.
Netanyahu commented on this itinerary in a statement he released, saying it “reveals that the sole purpose of their visit is to harm Israel and increase incitement against it.”
“Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar are leading activists in promoting the legislation of boycotts against Israel in the American Congress,” the release said. “Only a few days ago, we received their itinerary for their visit in Israel, which revealed that they planned a visit whose sole objective is to strengthen the boycott against us and deny Israel’s legitimacy. For instance: they listed the destination of their trip as Palestine and not Israel, and unlike all Democratic and Republican members of Congress who have visited Israel, they did not request to meet any Israeli officials, either from the government or the opposition.”
Nihad Awad, the national executive director of CAIR, took to Twitter to blame Trump, likening it to “another” Muslim ban, as he called for cutting U.S. aid to Israel.
Outrageous but not surprising#Israel's decision to ban two Congresswomen @IlhanMN and @RashidaTlaib is a slap in the face to US taxpayers who fund it with $3.2 billion dollars annually.#Trump is inspiring another #MuslimBan.

In another tweet, he blasted Israel for their “apartheid” and “segregationist policies.”
“It’s simple. #Israel is afraid of any member of congress visiting occupied Palestinian land and experiencing first hand its #Apartheid and segregationist policies without the guided whitewashing tour led by US lobby AIPAC,” Awad tweeted.

Ironically, when Tlaib, a Palestinian-American, fell back on her intentions to visit her elderly grandmother in the West Bank, Israel granted her a visit as a private citizen, on humanitarian grounds, on the condition that she not promote boycotts against Israel during her trip.
This woman right here is my sity. She deserves to live in peace & with human dignity. I am who I am because of her. The decision by Israel to bar her granddaughter, a U.S. Congresswoman, is a sign of weakness b/c the truth of what is happening to Palestinians is frightening. pic.twitter.com/GGcFLiH9N3

Proving that her visit was all about grandstanding and attempting to shame Israel, the extremist Democrat turned down the offer.
“Silencing me & treating me like a criminal is not what she wants for me. It would kill a piece of me. I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in–fighting against racism, oppression & injustice,” Tlaib tweeted Friday morning.

In a series of tweets on his decision, Netanyahu drew attention to an organization that was sponsoring the Democrats’ trip to “Palestine.”
His official Twitter account posted: “In addition, the organization that is funding their trip is Miftah, which is an avid supporter of BDS, and among whose members are those who have expressed support for terrorism against Israel.”

In a tweet citing NGO Monitor, a social media user pointed out that the Palestinian non-governmental organization Miftah has claimed “Jews use the blood of Christians in Jewish passover”?
Question for reporters covering @IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib trip to "Palestine"–as their itinerary refers to all of Israel–have u noted that the organization sponsoring the trip, Miftah, has claimed that "Jews use the blood of Christians in Jewish passover"? https://t.co/KyRqim4DYQ

And that’s not all, apparently.
“Miftah” supports Palestinian terrorists, such as suicide bomber Wafa Idrees who murdered 1 and injured around 150 when she blew herself up in a clothing store in Jerusalem, 2002.https://t.co/3Op6b1xF3S pic.twitter.com/AUgizR15F9

The reaction to the whole fiasco is best summed up by the Washington Examiner’s Seth Mandel, who declared: “I mean you have to be truly dedicated to be this much of an antisemite.”
