Anti-Semitic Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has again made it perfectly clear that the only things she’s willing to condemn are Americans, be they the nearly 63 million Americans who voted President Donald Trump into office or even her own party’s leader, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
On Tuesday, about a week after she refused to condemn al-Qaeda, the Muslim congresswomen doubled down, except this time she refused to condemn al-Qaeda, female genital mutilation and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
Asked at the so-called Muslim Caucus Education Collective’s 2019 Conference to specifically condemn female genital mutilation, she replied by ranting and raving about how she and her fellow Muslim congresswoman, Rashida Tlaib, don’t have to explain themselves to anybody.

“Your second question is an appalling question, because I feel like there are bills that we vote on, bills we sponsor, many statements we put out, and then we’re in a panel like this and the question is posed, ‘Could you and Rashida do this?'” she angrily said.
“And it’s like how often … Should I make a schedule, like, does this need to be on repeat every 5 minutes? Should I be like, so, today I forgot to condemn Al-Qaeda, so here’s the Al-Qaeda one. Today I forgot to condemn FGM so here it goes. Today I forgot to condemn Hamas so here it goes.”
There appears to be no record of either her or Tlaib ever signing a bill or making a statement on the national level that overtly condemned al-Qaeda, female genital mutilation or Hamas. The duo does however have a record of pushing blatantly anti-Semitic legislation, making blatantly anti-Semitic statements and — in the case of Omar — even defending Islamic State-linked terror suspects.
“You know, I mean, it is a very frustrating question that comes up,” Omar continued Tuesday. “You can look up my record. I’ve voted for bills doing exactly what you are asking me to do. I’ve put out statements upon statements. There’s a bill in Congress — there’s a resolution that I’m an equal author of, that I voted out of the Foreign Affairs Committee.”
Her official congressional Web page shows that she’s sponsored or co-sponsored 67 bills within the Foreign Affairs Committee. Even if any one of these bills contains an overt condemnation of al-Qaeda, female genital mutilation and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas — which seems unlikely — it’s unclear why she expects every American to be aware of the precise details of each bill.
It’s also unclear why she can’t differentiate between a possible condemnation tucked away within a lengthy bill and a loud, overt condemnation made in front of the public eye.
“I am, I think, quite disgusted to be honest that as Muslim legislators we are constantly being asked to waste our time speaking to issues that other people are not asked to speak to because the assumption exists that we somehow support and are for, right?” she continued Tuesday.
“No, there is an assumption. So I want to make sure the next time someone is in an audience and is looking at me and Rashida, and Abdul and Sam, that they ask us the proper questions they will probably ask any member of Congress or any legislator.”
But again, she’s never once overtly condemned al-Qaeda, female genital mutilation and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, as noted by a slew of social media critics:

As far as I know Omar has never unconditionally condemned AlQ or FGM which isn’t surprising because both AlQ enjoys a lot of sympathy in Muslim communities and FGM is widely practiced.

It comes with the territory Ilham, as well as the fact that most FGM is practiced by Muslims. You might have coauthored a bill that did very little, doesn’t keep you from answering the question. Your outrage and disgust are fake. A simple no or yes takes a second in time.

The latter user made a valid point. It would have “wasted” far less of her time had she simply condemned FGM on Tuesday instead of ranting and raving.
