Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren was caught off guard Saturday when she came face to face with the same radicalism that she’s helped foster in the Democrat Party.
As Warren was speaking on stage with two interviewers at the annual Netroots Nation conference in Philadelphia, a group of activists in the audience stood up holding a large sign that read, “Legalize 11 Million Reunify All Families #DignityNotDeportation.”
Meanwhile, as they held up their sign, another activist loudly began demanding that Warren “commit” to legalizing every single illegal alien in the United States.
“Will you commit to the immediate legalization of the 11 million undocumented immigrants in this country and the reunification of their families under the Obama administration and the Trump administration!?” the activist shrieked.
“I do. … Let’s talk about immigration,” Warren tried to respond, only to be cut off as the activist kept repeating her question over and over again without refrain.
Other audience members tried to tell the activist that the senator needed an opportunity to reply, but she refused to listen.
“So I’d like to talk about undocumented immigrants,” Warren tried once again to reply. “I’d liked to talk about mixed status families. I’d like to talk about an overhaul of our immigration system because that’s what we need. And it starts with the premise that immigration is good for this country. It makes us stronger. It makes our economy stronger.”
“And it ties us to families all around the world. So I have released an immigration plan … and here’s what that immigration plans tarts with. The first part starts with, we need to expand legal immigration in this country.”
As she spoke, the activist could be heard shouting, “We need your commitment! You’re not committing!”
The activist eventually went silent when security guards intervened and removed her from the room.
This allowed Warren to continue outlining her immigration proposal, which, it would appear, is about just as radical as the one the activists were touting.
“We’ve had families held apart for far too long, and that’s not who we are,” she said. “It doesn’t strengthen our economy. It doesn’t make us safer. It doesn’t help us build a stronger future.”
This remark suggests she wants to end the child separation policy, which would effectively turn America into an open-borders nation.
“Part two, we need a path — and I will build a path — to citizenship, not just for dreamers, but for families for people who are here to stay. A path to citizenship that is both fair and attainable. It’s about workers. It’s about people who’ve been here for a long time who’ve become integrated into our society.”
This suggests she wants to build “a path to citizenship” for every illegal alien and illegal alien family, which would in turn only incentivize more illegal immigration and more asylum fraud.
“Part three, I will stop this ugly mess at our borders. No great nation tears families apart. No great nation locks up children. We must at the borders respect the dignity of every human being who comes here. We need independent immigration courts so that there’s truly justice for people who are here.”
And this suggests she wants to stop detaining illegal aliens, which would also transform America into an open-borders nation.
Given the radicalism of her plan, it’s unclear why the activists had any beef with the senator. What’s known is that the activists were reportedly part of Movimiento Cosecha, a radical far-left group whose goals mirror those of Warren to a T.
The only noticeable difference between this group and Warren is that the senator has essentially come out in support of abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
“The President’s deeply immoral actions have made it obvious that we need to rebuild our immigration system from top to bottom, starting by replacing ICE with something that reflects our values,” she wrote in a Facebook post last summer.
Movimiento Cosecha’s official website only talks about businesses not working with ICE.
“As ICE continues to target immigrant communities across the country, we must take action against the cities, schools, and corporations that do business with ICE,” its website reads. “Every day, ICE depends on and receives support from mayors, local police departments, private tech companies, airlines, hospitals, and more to separate immigrant families. We say enough is enough.”
“At the end of the day, any institution that does business with ICE makes it easier for them to function. They are participants in our government’s attack on immigrants and complicit in violence against families and children at the border and in detention centers across the country. It is time to use our power as residents, students, workers, and consumers to send a clear message: supporting ICE is no longer socially acceptable. If you do business with ICE, then we won’t do business with you.”
While that’s certainly radical, it’s not as radical as calling for ICE’s outright replacement.
All this is relevant because it shows how Warren and her peers in the increasingly radicalized Democrat Party are, in many ways, responsible for the very radicalism that’re coming face to face with on an ever-more frequent basis.
Suffice it to say, when fellow 2020 contender Joe Biden was harangued by activists from the same group (Movimiento Cosecha) last week in Philadelphia, he had only himself and his own party to blame.

And when these activists chose to target Warren next, guess who deserved the blame for that …
