Only in today’s post-Obama bizarro world does a 29-year-old bartender feel qualified to question the credentials of a woman who ran a company estimated to be worth $50 million.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is renowned for saying dumb things, which is why she is commonly referred to as the “Bronx nitwit,” but the socialist doesn’t allow that to prevent her from adding to her illustrious body of work.
Taking to social media, Ocasio-Cortez displayed her angst over first daughter Ivanka Trump accompanying her father, President Donald Trump, to the G-20 summit held in Japan.
“It may be shocking to some, but being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification. It hurts our diplomatic standing when the President phones it in & the world moves on. The US needs our President working the G20. Bringing a qualified diplomat couldn’t hurt either,” the first-term lawmaker tweeted.

The tweet included a video of Ivanka Trump in conversation with U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May, French President Emmanuel Macron and Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund.
The awkward angle of the video makes it appear as if Trump is somewhat outside the circle of discussion, as if trying to interject herself into the conversation — needless to say, the TDS cabal seized on the opportunity to throw major shade her way.

Lagarde’s stern face, which is maintained throughout the clip, regardless of who she was looking at, was conveniently cited to add credence to the criticism
Lost in the mix for Ocasio-Cortez and those eager to criticize all things Trump is that Ivanka, who was an executive vice president with the Trump Organization, is not only first daughter, but an official White House advisor to the president.

All of which makes the Democrat’s criticism all the more hypocritical, given that she is always advocating for women rights and respect in the workplace.
And while the president is routinely criticized for being sexist, his daughter took to Twitter to note a milestone in the Japan trade talks.
“The United States is the only country in the G20 with an entirely female negotiating team representing President Trump and advancing his priorities,” she tweeted ahead of the visit.

Looking forward to heading to Japan tomorrow! #G20Japan #WGDP

And while Ocasio-Cortez did nothing to advance the empowerment of women, Ivanka did when she addressed the G20 Summit leaders, the Daily Mail reported.
“We believe that women’s inclusion in the economy is not solely a social justice issue, which of course it is, it’s also smart economic and defense policy,” she said, as a proud father looked on.

“We must continue to prioritize women’s economic empowerment and place it at the very heart of the G-20 agenda,” Ivanka added.
An effort she continued when the presidential entourage traveled to South Korea.
Today, I joined Minister Kang for a discussion about the critical role women play in the workforce & the global economy. When women work, economies grow! Looking forward to our work together in advancing the @WhiteHouse’s #WGDP initiative with the Republic of Korea. pic.twitter.com/5lAqVLfKDZ

The reaction on social media to Ocasio-Cortez’s tweet, which may expose as much envy as it does hate, seemed to center on the fact that just a year ago, she was tending bar for a living.
Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
This might be the dumbest thing I’ve seen on Twitter in a long long time. @IvankaTrump has been working hard and using her platform to help women around the world and to use your platform to try and bring her down shows you’re no better than the “AOC is a bartender” crowd

Being the daughter of a billionaire and President of the United States is a hell of a lot better qualification than being a socialist bartender.

It may be shocking to some, but winning a Congressional election isn’t a guarantee that someone is qualified to be a member of Congress. Some really should stick to serving drinks.

It may be shocking to you but Id wager she is far more qualified than you. It hurts out diplomatic standing when a moronic elected rep back home with zero knowledge of wtf is going on here much less at the meetings (other than an isolated clip) flaps her gums as usual.

says the bartender portraying herself as a representative

And being a ‘bartender’ qualifies you to be a Congressional Representative? And there’s no corruption in your campaign with your #boyfriend? Then why is the FEC investigating
You have No Diplomatic experience, so who are you to judge? Besides @IvankaTrump is multi-lingual…— Sara Goodman (@Isaragoodman) June 30, 2019
Oh yes a bartender has more talent then a girl that runs multiple companies

I agree. President Trump should have brought you along to show to everyone the stupid side of our government.
