Outside Wednesday night’s Democrat debate in Miami, a passionate rally broke out made-up of Trump lovers, socialism haters, and even police officers who were specifically protesting Bill de Blasio–infamous opponent of law-enforcement.
But to be clear, the protest was peaceful. Nobody destroyed property, no lefties were assaulted, and flags were not burned. In other words, conservatives were there lawfully protesting the policies of the extreme-left socialist Democrats who were inside debating among themselves about who could promise the most expensive, radical, and trendy taxpayer-funded giveaways and liberty-sucking schemes imaginable.

Several police officers from various jurisdictions and unions exercised their right of free speech in order to protest Dem candidate Bill de Blasio’s overt disdain for enforcing laws that are on the books. Note that the Broward County Police Benevolent Association (BCPBA) is the largest police union in that county …

Some estimates put the protest numbers at a few hundred.
Tons of support for @realDonaldTrump outside the #DemDebate in Miami. Lots of people with personal experience with totalitarian regimes don’t want government control over every aspect of their lives. Government-run EVERYTHING is what we’ll hear about on stage tonight. pic.twitter.com/kvNdwVrC7t

Chances are the second night of the Democrat debates on Thursday will draw even larger protests.
The first of the two-day debate, featuring 10 of the chaotic crowd of the 20 leftist candidates jostling to get voters’ attention, was fairly highlight-less, unless you call the production glitches by MSNBC noteworthy, of a few of the candidates pandering to Latinos by answering questions in Spanish.
Following the debate, critics were nearly unanimous that the MSNBC moderators did a poor job, as time was not evenly distributed among the 10 candidates on the stage and no one was adequately pressed on their answers to questions.
To no one’s surprise, in an election season when Democrats vie to be the most radical left in the bunch, there was no effort to appeal to those on the right or in the middle of the political spectrum. The candidates were perfectly content to simply play to their base.
