Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., compared detention centers on the southern border to the Holocaust Monday in a video posted on Instagram, applying the phrase “Never Again,” associated with the deaths of more than six million Jews, to advance her open border agenda.
The 29-year-old democratic socialist and former bartender is quick to present herself as the moral authority in this country, only too happy to lecture us on what we should be doing, and has said some really stupid things before, but Monday’s effort takes the cake.
“The United States is running concentration camps on our southern border, and that is exactly what they are,” the Bronx freshman is heard saying in the video.
Ocasio-Cortez falsely claims Trump is operating concentration camps, compares the situation to the Holocaust: “The U.S. is running concentration camps on our southern border and that is exactly what they are. … ‘Never Again’ means something … we need to do something about it” pic.twitter.com/F2MmZ8y2dT

With a wave of a hand, Ocasio-Cortes dismisses all who disagree with her analogy, as the intolerant left is wont to do.
“I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with humanity to say that we should not — that ‘Never Again’ means something,” she said.
“And the fact that concentrations camps are now an institutionalized practice in the Home of the Free is extraordinarily disturbing and we need to do something about it,” the socialist added.
Her inane analogy of detention centers ignores that they were in place long before Donald Trump resided at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but that didn’t prevent her from attacking President Trump, saying “we are losing to an authoritarian and fascist presidency.”
“I don’t use those words lightly. I don’t use those words to just throw bombs,” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “I use the word because that’s what an administration that creates concentration camps is.
“A presidency that creates concentration camps is fascist and it’s very difficult to say that.”
It’s stunning that much of the media fawns over Ocasio-Cortez as if she was an expert on all matters — then again, she is a bartender — and that hardcore liberals hang on her every word.
But don’t give the freshman lawmaker too much credit for an original thought because Esquire ran a piece on Thursday featuring an anti-Trump “expert,” Andrea Pitzer, who says that concentration camps are exactly what we see on the border.
“We have what I would call a concentration camp system, and the definition of that in my book is, mass detention of civilians without trial,” the author said.
Here’s a recent example of Pitzer plying her trade.
For all those who say that the border camps aren't concentration camps because "they're not like those other camps," know that every country has said their camps are humane and will be different. Trump is instinctively an authoritarian. He'll take them as far as he's allowed to.

But then, rabid liberals have been making that comparison for months, as seen in the response to a fenced area being used in March to temporarily detain a flood of illegal immigrants on the southern border.
This is a fucking concentration camp. We are running concentration camps. https://t.co/D6KVPNgY04

And this from Sophie Ellman-Golan, the communications director for the feminist Trump-hating Women’s March.
This looks like a concentration camp. It’s appalling.

Of course, the challenge for the U.S. government is a flood of humanity invading the southern border, overwhelming the capacity to process them, and the liberal media is making little effort to inform the American people of how critical the problem is.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported this month that agents apprehended 132,887 individuals who entered the country illegally in May alone — there have been 676,315 enforcement actions on the border in FY2019 through May, an increase of 99% over the same time last year, according to the agency.

The Democratic Party’s dogged protection of illegal immigrants in America serves as an enticement, drawing more to America, with open border groups on the left aiding and abetting those making the trek.
As for Ocasio-Cortez, the Democrat has a history of comparing illegal immigrants to Jews who were feeling Nazi atrocities, as seen in a November 2018 tweet:
Asking to be considered a refugee & applying for status isn’t a crime.
It wasn’t for Jewish families fleeing Germany.
It wasn’t for targeted families fleeing Rwanda.
It wasn’t for communities fleeing war-torn Syria.
And it isn’t for those fleeing violence in Central America. https://t.co/qhv7Rr1itn

One thing appears certain, that being that Ocasio-Cortez failed to take up the advice offered at the time by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
I recommend she take a tour of the Holocaust Museum in DC.
Might help her better understand the differences between the Holocaust and the caravan in Tijuana. https://t.co/05vCexiClE
