If there’s one thing that socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez excels at more than anything else, it’s entitlement, for she and her cohorts seem to think she’s the Queen of the World.
Case in point: She refuses to debate anybody, and anytime someone does challenge her to a debate, she either cries “sexism” or, as what reportedly happened this week, flees the scene and then deploys one of her campaign operatives to talk trash to her challenger for trying to speak to the “Queen.”
Meet Rich Valdes, a conservative radio producer who reportedly plans to relocate to Ocasio-Cortez’s district soon so that he may challenge her in the upcoming 2020 elections. During the National Puerto Rican Day Parade last weekend, he tried to speak with her and invite her onto his show for a debate.
Watch:
After @RepMaloney (whom I’d never met prior) stopped to say hello to @curtissliwa & me, I saw @RepAOC leave the “todos juntos” banner to greet people. So I quickly walked over to say hello & remind her of my invitation to debate the issues on my show but she ran across the street pic.twitter.com/tpg8K8WDdI

After this encounter, the New York Post ran a story about what happened.
“US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez turned tail on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue to avoid a potential Republican challenger as they both marched in the National Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday, her political opponent said,” according to the Post.
“Talk-radio producer Rich Valdes told The Post that he tried to challenge the freshman Democratic congresswoman to a debate on the merits of capitalism versus socialism when he spotted her near West 47th Street.”
Instead of acting like a grown adult, AOC “cut her handshaking short, jerked her hand back and jetted to the other side of the street,” Valdez told the Post. “She literally ran!”
“I thought this was a good time to try and get a response but I honestly only saw the back of her head as she trotted across the street,” he added.
After the story went viral and caught the attention of AOC’s staff, her spokesperson Corbin Trent sent Valdez a since-deleted tweeted accusing him of being “entitled” for having had the apparent audacity to challenge a potential political candidate to a debate …
Look:
Speaking with the Post afterward, he admitted to deleting the tweet because “[i]t didn’t seem that helpful” but doubled down on his accusations of entitlement.
“I regret that so many people right from presidential candidates to right-wing commentators to random people that start organizations think that they’re entitled to people’s time,” he said.
“I think she’s spending a ton of time in the district talking about what she’s doing, talking about why she’s doing it and making a case for her policies.”
That was a blatant lie. First, the parade occurred in Manhattan, not her district of Brooklyn. Second, her constituents have repeatedly confirmed that she never speaks to them.
Local activist Roxanne Delgado told the Post back in March that she’d tried for months to get in touch with AOC about saving an animal shelter and cleaning up parks in the district, but to no avail.
“I thought AOC would be our savior, but that’s not the case,” she said.
@errollouis @JuanMaBenitez Can someone ask @aoc to please have a contact for constituents services. NO one working in #biaggi or #gillbrand office on her behalf. NO email or contact on @AOC‘s page except DC number which has full #voicemail and no one picks up. @nypost

“She has to address these local issues. Her district is everywhere else in the US. Her heart is not in the Bronx,” former police officer Anthony Vitaliano added.
Vitaliano, 78, had concerns about mail delivery and wanted Ocasio-Cortez to pressure Amtrak to clean up graffiti at property it owns.
“You know, I appreciate what she’s doing, but she has to represent us,” he reportedly said at the time during a local board meeting.
Sorry, you sexist pig, but the Queen doesn’t have time for peasants. She’s too busy doing aristocratic things like sipping wine on Instagram to give a damn, didn’t you know!?
Responding to Trent’s stunning double-downing, Valdes said, “If Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez condones her spokesperson’s belligerent behavior and language, that’s on her. It speaks volumes to how much she respects civility and respectful civil discourse. Something we desperately need today.”
He added that he never chased or “stalked” AOC — he simply approached her. But thanks to the #MeToo movement, approaching the Queen is a big no-no, it would appear.
ALL HAIL THE QUEEN!
Read, @AOC is all about ‘entitlements’ even when it comes to talking with her: AOC spokesperson Corbin Trent recently responded with a profanity…
“Yo @RichValdes what in the actual f**k makes you think you’re entitled to a debate with AOC,” Trent said in a tweet. SAD NEWS AOC

@richvaldes I can’t believe you need to “deserve” @aoc ‘s time to justify a debate on the merits of policy. Is she so high & mighty now that we have to earn the right to have a straight up discussion with her majesty? Stay consistent, Rich! Well done

@AOC is afraid to debate because she knows she will look like the complete idiot she is. @corbintrent your boss has been in office less than a year and already acting like a liberal elitist who doesnt have to continue earning the right to be there. https://t.co/KcRuFdtiOY

@corbintrent what the actual f*#& do you mean when you ask why a politician feels entitled to debate another politician?! How about hundreds of years of tradition? Just because @AOC has the brains of an ice cube, don’t think she gets a pass. She’ll get decimated. #MAGA
