You can’t make this stuff up. Reports have surfaced that a deal is in the works for Anthony Scaramucci’s wife, Deidre, to be added to the cast of “The Real Housewives of New York City” (RHONY). But self-proclaimed RHONY fanatic Meghan McCain of “The View” criticized the development, expressing her opinion that people shouldn’t use their political fame and connections to get on TV.
HA! Choice, right?
“It is a really perfect cast right now, they don’t need her,” McCain said. “Beyond anything else, I don’t think we should be rewarding bad behavior. I’m sorry, Anthony Scaramucci joined the administration, our government, during a time to only be on TV. If this is some people using the White House to get on television to get on reality television, I don’t support it.”
Blindly self-absorbed much?
Mrs. Scaramucci succinctly turned the issue back at The View‘s blonde RINO, saying, “I guess @MeghanMcCain thinks she got the job on @TheView by not being John McCain’s daughter?”

Before McCain took her shots at the Scaramuccis, “The View” co-host Joy Behar said she thought Diedre was a “firecracker” and that she would be “great” on the show.
The Mooch himself had a response to McCain, tweeting, “I didn’t serve the govt to be on TV. I was already on. I took incoming that effected my personal life. Yet never once have I done anything but honor your family and your Dad’s sacrifices for the country. It didn’t work out for me but it was well intended. #BeNice”.

Earlier this week, Page Six broke the news about the apparent new RHONY cast member …
Anthony Scaramucci’s wife, Deidre, is being courted to join the cast of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” sources exclusively told Page Six.
A source said: “Scaramucci’s wife is doing the ‘Housewives.’ They’ve been wanting new blood and have been striking out with new cast members. She’s been meeting with Bravo.” Another insider added of Deidre: “It’s reality-TV gold. I’d love to have her on.”

Exactly. Meaghan acts like she got the job on her own merit.

If not for her father, she’d be a clerk at Lane Bryant.
