Actress Kristy Swanson responds to death threat over play about real-life anti-Trump FBI agents Strzok and Page

The Mueller investigation seems to be all Democrats can talk about these days. Despite the final report clearing President Donald Trump of collusion with Russia in the 2016 presidential election, extremist Dems have still clung to the wasteful investigation as they look for any reason to remove Trump from office.

The Mueller investigation will be put in a very different spotlight on June 13 when outspoken conservative actors Dean Cain and Kristy Swanson partake in a dramatic reading of the controversial texts shared between anti-Trump FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

Strzok and Page were both part of the Mueller investigation at one point, but were removed by Mueller when texts between the two went public. In the midst of an extramarital affair, Strzok and Page expressed to one another a deep desire to keep Donald Trump away from the White House.

In one text, Strzok described the Russia investigation as an “insurance policy” to keep Trump out of office. He also told Page after Trump won the presidency that he was “so depressed.”

This sort of bias being central to the Mueller investigation is certainly not something Democrats want as part of the ongoing conversation about the investigation, but the texts will be brought back into the spotlight next month by Dean Cain, Kristy Swanson and filmmaker Phelim McAleer.

“It is a 100 percent verbatim script constructed out of the secret texts from Peter Strzok and Lisa Page (aka the FBI Lovebirds) and I have included their closed-door testimony to the congressional committee that was investigating them,” McAleer said in a statement announcing the project.

He continued, “It’s an amazing script of Page and Strzok texting like juvenile lovers in between vile anti-Trump texts and them planning to investigate him as an ‘insurance policy’ in case he gets elected. It’s clear when you see and hear the texts and their lame defenses when questioned about them that they were determined to stop the Trump presidency by any means necessary.”

McAleer previously brought the film “Gosnell” to life, a movie that highlighted the crimes of Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, a man who was performing extremely late-term abortions. He was convicted in 2013 on three counts of first-degree murder. Dean Cain, who will be playing Peter Strzok in the upcoming play, starred in “Gosnell” and the film even recently had a screening at the White House.

Swanson, who will be playing Lisa Page, is one of the few successful artists in Hollywood with outspoken conservative views. She recently appeared in a handful of episodes of CBS’ military drama “SEAL Team” and she is perhaps best known for her roles in the original “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and the Adam Sandler comedy “Big Daddy.” She has also worked with Dean Cain on multiple films.

Swanson and Cain have already received backlash for their involvement in the play. One Twitter user even issued a death threat to both of the actors.

“Have the Capitol steps open, lock the doors, and set the theater on fire,” the user wrote.

Despite the threat, the Twitter account remains active on the social media platform.

In an exclusive interview with Bizpac Review, Swanson called the threat “disgusting.”

“I think its disgusting that someone would make a threat like this,” the actress said.

It’s curious that the play would inspire such fury since Swanson and Cain will simply be reading the real texts shared between Strzok and Page. No words leaving their mouths will be made up.

“I will be in the stage performance of ‘FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers,’ and as an actor, I look forward to playing Lisa Page as written by Lisa Page,” said Swanson.

“FBI Lovebirds: Undercover” will be staged at the The Studio Theater in D.C. next month. It will be filmed and later uploaded to YouTube. There is currently a crowdfunding campaign going to fund the project. You can support the play here.
