Political correctness causing Christian persecution to soar to official genocidal levels in some parts of world, report

With the liberal media focused on misinterpreting President Trump’s action to keep Americans safe, and on isolated cases of Islamaphobia, the persecution of Christians around the world is “close to meeting the International definition of genocide.”

That’s according to an interim report released at the request of the British Foreign Secretary, and this effort to wipe them out is getting little play in the media.

Christians are being targeted by extremist groups in the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia, and Iraq Christian Relief Council president Juliana Taimoorazy appeared on Fox News “America’s News HQ” to say 1 out of 9 are being persecuted across the world.

Citing the report, Fox News’ Molly Line said 80% of religious believers under siege are Christians, asked Taimoorazy if this should be a “wake up” call.

Taimoorazy, a senior fellow of The Philos Project and a leading advocate, speaker and writer advancing awareness of persecution of Christians in the Middle East, pointed to ISIS to say a genocide has been underway for some time in Iraq.

“Our numbers were 1.5 million, today down to two hundred thousand people, and look at Sri Lanka. Look how what happened there,” Taimoorazy said.

“Look at what’s happening in India,” she added. Nobody’s really talking about India.”

A series of bombings, to include three Christian churches, killed at least 253 people on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka, with another 500 injured. The attack coming at the hands of suicide bombers from a local militant Islamist group.

The Christian Broadcasting Network just reported in March that India “is seeing a dramatic rise in persecution as more and more churches and Christians are coming under attack in 2019.”

Figures show cases of hate and violence against India’s minority Christians jumped 57 percent in the first two months of 2019.

“According to [U.S. State Department] Open Doors report, one out of nine Christians across the world are being persecuted today,” Taimoorazy said.

She also said political correctness plays a direct role here.

“I believe the death of most of the people that are suffering today is truly because of the political correctness,” the Christian activist insisted. “Because the world turns a blind eye to this, and when we are politically correct we are sympathizing with those terrorists that are destroying communities and erasing histories.”

One need look no further than the freshman class of Democrats in the U.S. Congress for examples of this.

Taimoorazy stressed that “persecution looks different in different parts of the world,” adding that “the way we answer every persecuted situation it has to be different.”
