Kellyanne catches AOC in lie about being ‘away from tech.’ She had time to tweet about her Netflix special.

Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Donald Trump, explained why she called out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., for not tweeting anything in response to the Sri Lanka Easter massacre.

Her reasons centered on something known as fair play, and the media’s love for the Bronx freshman– journalists who act more like “fangirls,” according to Conway.

Appearing Monday night on Fox News’ “Hannity,” the Trump aide began with what proved to be a stellar observation.

“I usually leave Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and some of these other freshmen like [Reps.] Ilhan Omar, [Rashida] Tlaib alone because basically when they speak, it’s a gift to conservatives and to the Republican Party,” Conway said.

“When she holds forth about we can’t have any more gas, any more cows, anymore gas from cows,” she added. “She says the world is going to end in the next 12 years, doesn’t seem to understand the way tax incentives work.”

While she is constantly challenged by the media, Conway observed that Ocasio-Cortez is always given a pass.

“But I really had to call her out here because I am on television shows, and I’m asked constantly, ‘Why didn’t Donald Trump say this, why did he use that word? Where is the semi-colon in this tweet where I believe it should be.’ And I said hey, does anybody ask Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who you give a hero’s welcome to?” Conway said. “All you fangirls ever bother to ask her why she’s been completely silent on the massacre against Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday?”

Conway drew attention to the democratic socialist’s “silence about the Sri Lanka massacre of Christians in a tweet Sunday.” She also talked about it on CNN’s “State of the Union,” noting that Ocasio-Cortez “tweets many times about the [New Zealand] mosque and never once about the Christians being killed in Sri Lanka.”

The freshman Democrat blamed her silence on being “away from tech” while visiting her grandmother in Puerto Rico, and cast herself as a victim by accusing Conway of attempting to “stoke suspicion around my Christianity.”

But Conway is a little too savvy for the media darling, squashing Ocasio-Cortez’s lame excuse about being “away from tech.”

“The very next day, they’re still picking through the rubble in Sri Lanka, looking for survivors or of the deceased — she had time to tweet about her Netflix documentary about her,” she told host Sean Hannity.

The tweet below was on the Monday after Easter, when the Democrat lawmaker said she was away from “tech” — few media outlets noted the discrepancy.

Conway also shut down Ocasio-Cortez’s argument about her Christianity being called into question, “It’s not about her faith, it’s about her selectivity.”
