Candace Owens, the communications director for Turning Point USA, has been seen as somewhat of a rock star on the right for challenging the Democratic narrative on race, but she may have become a superstar following Tuesday’s performance before the House Judiciary Committee.
Invited to a hearing on hate crimes by Republicans, Owens, a victim of a hate crime, eviscerated the Democratic Party, exposing and dismantling their election strategy right before their eyes.
Owens was so effective, the Kool-Aid drinking hard left whipped themselves into a lather, launching a full scale attack online.
But President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., also took notice. Posting a video of some of Owens remarks before the Democrat-led panel, Trump Jr. added:

When Trump Jr. says “articulates perfectly,” he’s spot on. Owens destroyed the party of resistance and obstruction so thoroughly by exposing their tactics that it should be required reading in ever school in America.
“There isn’t a single adult today that in good conscience can make the argument that America is a more racist or a more white nationalist society than it was when my grandfather was growing up,” she said. “Yet, we’re hearing these terms sent around today because what they want to say is that brown people need to be scared. That seems to be the narrative that we hear every four years right ahead of a presidential election.”
Owens highlights what Democrats don’t talk about in many cities and states that have been fully under their control for decades.
“Here are some things we never hear: 75 percent of the black boys in California don’t meet state reading standards,” Owens began. “In inner cities like Baltimore, where in five high schools and one middle school not a single student was found to be proficient in math or reading in 2016.”
She goes on to note that the single motherhood rate in the black community “is at a staggering 74 percent, sarcastically adding, “I’m guessing there will be no committee hearings about that.”
And Owens was far from done.
“There are more black babies aborted than born alive in cities like New York,” she continued. “And you have Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo lighting up buildings to celebrate late-term abortions.”
“I could go on and on but my point is that white nationalism did not do any of those things I brought up, Democrat policies did,” Owens declared, as members of the party looked on with sullen faces.
“Let me be clear, the hearing is not about white nationals or hate crimes, it’s about fear mongering, power and control,” she went on, with deadly effect. “It’s a preview of the Democrat 2020 election strategy, same as the Democrat 2016 strategy. They blame Facebook, they blame Google, they blame Twitter. Really, they blame the birth of social media, which has disrupted their monopoly on lying. They called the hearing because they believe if it wasn’t for social media, voices like mine would never exist. That my movement, Blexit, which is inspiring black Americans to leave the Democratic Party, would never have come about. And they certainly believe that Donald Trump would not be in office today.”
“What they won’t tell you about the statistic and rise of white nationalism is that they simply changed the data set points by widening the definition of hate crimes and upping the number of agencies able to report on them, Owen said. “What I mean to say is that they manipulate statistics. The goal is to scare blacks, Hispanics, gays, and Muslims to help them censor dissenting opinions, ultimately helping them regain control of our countries narrative, which they feel that they lost. They feel that President Donald Trump should not have beaten Hillary.”
And if you think that was impressive, Owens then went in for the kill.
“The bottom line is that white supremacy, racism, white nationalism, words that once held real meaning have now become nothing more than election strategies,” she said. “Every four years the black community is offered hands and fear. Hand outs and fear, reparations and white nationalism. This is the Democrats preview.”
That this message was coming from a black woman is devastating to the party that is beholden to identity politics for its very survival.
Perfect indeed.
