‘Angry White Male Studies’ course offered in the fall. Maybe you should take this college off your short list.

The latest example that colleges are little more than indoctrination centers for the progressive left can be found at the University of Kansas, where students will soon be able to study the rise of the “angry white male” in the U.S. and Britain.

Titled “Angry White Male Studies,” the class will dive into “the deeper sources of this emotional state while evaluating recent manifestations of male anger” since the 50s, WFLA reported.

To give it the feel of real academics, students earn 3 credit hours in the humanities course — its prerequisite is “women, gender, and sexuality studies.”

“Employing interdisciplinary perspectives this course examines how both dominant and subordinate masculinities are represented and experienced in cultures undergoing periods of rapid change connected to modernity as well as to rights-based movements of women, people of color, homosexuals and trans individuals,” the course description reads.

We are to assume that white males do not possess a modern way of thinking.

Rep. Ron Estes, R-Kansas, linking to an article from Campus Reform, called out the school on social media for offering a class that “divides” students. A class that just may violate the Education Department’s Title IX, which bans sexual discrimination.

Estes tweeted: “Instead of a course to unite people and empower women, KU has decided to offer a class that divides the student population and could pose a Title IX violation by creating a hostile campus environment based on gender.”

Of course, he was immediately criticized for being… an angry white male.

The class will be available in the fall and Christopher E. Forth, the Dean’s Professor of Humanities and Professor of History at the University of Kansas, is listed as the course instructor, according to Campus Reform.

Junior Rianon Wallace-Demby saw a benefit to the class, according to WFLA.

“Creating dialogue which is something that we need to have,” Wallace-Demby said. “Dialogue is important. Dialogue needs to be had.”

Unless, of course, the dialogue fails to adhere to hard-left progressive principles that pass as the norm on college campuses.
