House Democrats are shedding their last vestiges of decency.
Robert Mueller’s report did not hand leftists the ammunition they wanted, to clinch their planned, undercover coup d’état against the President of the United States. So now, House leaders are demanding actions and floating a bevy of new destructive and illegal ideas designed to bring impeachment of the POTUS.
Hiding behind the guise of “complete transparency,” House radicals are insisting on receiving the complete Mueller Report, no redactions, and seeing all supporting papers, such as all Grand Jury documents. Ignoring federal law, the materials they demand from the Executive Branch’s Justice Department are not even allowed under the law to be shared with other governmental bodies. The rules at the Justice Department state that Mueller’s Report to the attorney general is confidential.
It matters little to the House radicals that their demands are a breach of the delineation of powers between two of the three branches of government. Their actions commit further harm beyond that.
The Mueller report very likely contains classified, sensitive information; intelligence agencies do not want certain kinds of information to be made public. In addition, uncharged third-party people whose names may be in the report have privacy rights. Making the report public, or releasing it to an audience so that that internal details could easily be leaked to the press, could harm people who have not been charged with criminal activities. Federal rules prohibit disclosure of “certain grand jury information” and violating those rules are considered to be a “crime in certain circumstances”. Also, there are ongoing investigations which need to be respected and information that needs to be protected.
And once again we see the fake-news allies of the left, such as The New York Times, editorializing in their news reports by relying on ghost-like “anonymous sources” to spout opinions disguised as news. You see, it seems to the Times that “associates” of Mueller’s investigators are “troubled” and “vexed” because they think Mueller’s findings were not “adequately” portrayed. What is their evidence for these spurious allegations? None.
So let’s remember that outfits like the Times published huge numbers of “bombshell” stories over the last two years, alleging that “President Trump would eventually be indicted for having colluded with Russian operatives to affect the 2016 election”.
These actions by Dems, who refuse to accept the Special Counsel’s evidence and the Attorney General’s judgment, are riddled with hidden agendas. Demanding a full, unredacted, “transparent” report sounds good, sounds noble. But acting for the public good is not the real reason for their demands.
The truth is, the Democrats are eager to scorch the reputations of people associated with Trump but who have committed no crimes. They want those names. The left doesn’t give a damn if releasing the report pours high-octane gasoline on the Washington political fires and keeps people polarized, at each other’s throats. The leftists’ real reason is they want the President’s head on a spike. They hate the POTUS with a detest-fest ferocity that approaches psychosis.
Instead of being pleased that there was no collusion between candidate Trump or his staff, and the Russians, and that our presidential election survived intact, the Dems are apoplectic and dismayed. And they have allowed the scruples of the once-respected Democratic Party to get trampled under the jack-boots of the Far Left.
The other leftist outfits that want to destroy the presidency, such as the left-wing Green Party, the Communist Party, the Socialist Party and the Socialist Workers Party, have never been truthful or honest about their goals during their entire existence anyway.
