Franklin Graham sees Mueller probe end as time to heal, James Woods unloads: ‘Never … We won’t stop til every single one of them is behind bars’

Evangelical Franklin Graham, the eldest son of Billy Graham, took to Twitter on Sunday with an inspirational appeal for bipartisanship after Attorney General Bill Barr informed Congress that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation did not find evidence President Donald Trump or members of his campaign conspired with Russia to influence the 2016 election, nor did they find enough evidence to say that Trump obstructed justice.

A message that didn’t sit well with outspoken conservative activist James Woods, who is known for his willingness to accept the hard truth about politics today.

Citing the nearly two years invested into the Russian collusion investigation, along with the more than $30 million, Graham recognized that Trump’s enemies “spouted lies,” and that the “liberal media was also culpable in this nightmare.”

In a second tweet, Graham offered a prayer that Democrats and Republicans will now come to together and address the nation’s challenges.

“My prayer is that Democrats and Republicans will now work together to solve the problems our country faces,” he said. “There are so many issues that need immediate attention. Pray with me that God will guide, direct, and protect @POTUS @realDonaldTrump and our nation.”

But there are a host of problems with the appeal, beginning with the harsh reality that when it comes to the president’s enemies, much of the media today fits that bill, being little more than an arm of the Democratic Party campaign apparatus.

Another point is that Democrats have shown no willingness to work with the GOP on much of anything for years, unless the GOP folds to their beliefs.

As for addressing our problems, Congress as a whole has been failing the American people for decades.

But above all, Graham forgoes any accountability for a probe that began when the FBI, under deputy director Andrew McCabe, began an inquiry into whether Trump was working on behalf of Russia after the president fired disgraced former director James Comey — McCabe would later be fired himself.

That inquiry would be picked up by Robert Mueller when he was appointed special counsel — which was prompted by a leak from Comey of private conversations he had with the president. And there are concerns about a FISA warrant obtained on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, which allowed for the surveillance of the Trump campaign.

At the center of that effort is the largely discredited dossier, which was compiled by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele and funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign — a fact the Justice Department failed to disclose to the court in obtaining the warrant.

And it was along this line that Woods rejected Grahams call to work together — in no uncertain terms, the actor is demanding justice instead.

“Sorry, Rev. We are never ‘working together’ with these treacherous scum again,” he tweeted. “They drew first blood for no other reason than their besotted ‘queen’ didn’t get ‘her turn.’ We won’t stop til every single one of them is behind bars. Every. Single. One.”

Can we get an amen?

With as discerning an eye as Woods displayed in another tweet, how can his words of wisdom be dismissed?

In the other endearing tweet, Woods shared a video of a dog plunging into a river to rescue two fellow dogs stranded in a canoe, comparing the brave animal to Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif, the sniveling anti-Trump chair of the House Intelligence Committee.

Schiff repeatedly insisted that there was evidence to prove collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.

One thing is certain, Woods is not alone in his thought process. Here’s a sampling of responses from his followers on Twitter:
