Linda Sarsour brags about her pivotal role in making democratic leadership water down anti-semitism resolution

One of the most notorious anti-Semites in America, Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour, has admitted that she and her far-left peers played a pivotal role in convincing congressional Democrats to water down an anti-hate resolution and direct the focus away from anti-Semitic congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

She made the admission while soliciting her Facebook followers for donations to the Women’s March.

Listen:

“You know the Women’s March — we’ve been through some rough times,” she said in a Facebook video uploaded Friday, a day after the Democrat-led House passed a watered-down anti-hate resolution that even left-wing Fox News commentator Geraldo Rivera admitted “meant absolutely nothing.”

“So, many of you know our sister, congresswoman Ilhan Omar, was under attack,” Sarsour added, citing the justified backlash the Muslim congresswoman faced after she again spouted blatantly anti-Semitic rhetoric during an event Washington, D.C., about a week a half ago.

Here’s a reminder of what some of that sounded like:

Sarsour continued her solicitation by arguing that donations to the Women’s March will help the organization continue its mission? What mission exactly? To protect anti-Semites, it would appear:

“Being able to mobilize progressive leaders across the country to sign on to a letter to organize a press conference in support of Ilhan Omar, to call on the Democrat leadership to actually expand the language of the resolution to include condemning all forms of bigotry, because that’s the type of movement we’re a part of. The Women’s March is a movement that unequivocally rejects all forms of racism, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, and that’s what we called the Democratic leadership to do.”

Sarsour, who’s closely affiliated with the terror-supporting Council on American–Islamic Relations, admitted that it was because of pressure from far-left radicals like her that congressional Democrats replaced what was to have been a resolution specifically condemning Omar for her anti-Semitism with a vague anti-hate resolution that barely even mentioned anti-Semitism.

The resolution simply condemned hate against certain groups such as Jews and whites (but not other groups such as Christians, whites and Trump supporters) and listed those groups accused of hate, including white supremacists, neo-Confederates, white nationalists, neo-Nazis and Ku Klux Klansmen, but excluding Islamic terrorists and the Women’s March.

A couple of questions come to mind.

One, do Sarsour and her peers in the Women’s March live in an alternate reality? Far from rejecting all forms of bigotry, the group trades in bigotry the way lazy people trade in excuses: It’s innate to the organization, from its noted repulsion toward whites to its links to hate leader Louis Farrakhan.

And then there’s Sarsour herself, a woman who spouts racist, incendiary and bigoted rhetoric on a daily basis. Last week she called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a “typical white feminist.” That was racist. Seven years ago she posted a tweet suggesting that the vaginas of Brigitte Gabriel and Ayaan Hirsi Ali — two survivors of Islamic oppression who now fight for women’s rights in Muslim countries — should be ripped away. That was just sick:

She’s also called for a “jihad” against the Trump administration, exploited hurricane relief efforts to solicit funds for left-wing political organizations and hobnobbed with actual terrorists.

Second, why are congressional Democrats listening to and apparently taking orders from the likes of the Women’s March? They might as well listen to and take orders from white supremacist David Duke (who by the way is a huge fan of Ilhan Omar)  while they’re at it.

That the party is allowing its agenda to be determined by some of the most radical people in America is telling, though not surprising. As longtime political operator Newt Gingrich noted in a column last week, the modern Democrat Party has been taken over by a hash of radicalized “progressive” youth.

“This is how you end up with the so-called Green New Deal, which is a work of complete legislative fantasy that would utterly bankrupt the country. It’s also how the House got to a second forced public condemnation of the new Democrats’ flagrant anti-Semitism,” he wrote.

And this is also how you get a party that’s so morally bankrupt it listens to the likes of Linda Sarsour:

The latter tweet in reference to a newfound movement of fed-up Jewish millennials fleeing the Democrat Party much in the same way that blacks have been fleeing it.

Can you blame them?
