Kaepernick’s attorney responds to Maroon 5’s vow to ruin Superbowl halftime for politics. It’s not enough!

Race-baiting agitator Colin Kaepernick’s narcissism knows no bounds. On Friday the unemployed former NFL star sicced his pitbull, attorney Mark Geragos, on the pop rock band Maroon 5 for having the apparent gall to perform at the most-watched event of the year.

Speaking on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” his attorney aimed his fury specifically at the band’s lead singer, Adam Levine. In an interview a day earlier, Levine had defended his decision to perform at the upcoming Super Bowl on the basis that he’d thought deeply about it and decided that the best way to honor social justice warriors like Kaepernick would be through his music.

“If you’re going to cross this ideological or intellectual picket line, then own it, and Adam Levine certainly isn’t owning it,” Geragos complained Friday. “It’s a cop-out when you start talking about, ‘I’m not a politician; I’m just doing the music.’ Most of the musicians who have any kind of consciousness whatsoever understand what’s going on here.”

Most musicians are far-left zealots who’re completely divorced from the facts.

When asked what he thought about Maroon 5’s vow to pay tribute to Kaepernick through their music, Geragos again complained that the band should’ve refused to perform.

“I think what would have been more effective is if they’d done what the others had done — whether it was Beyonce or Jay-Z or Cardi B or others who just said they wouldn’t be part of it. They weren’t going to participate,” he said, referencing three rappers who speak for neither all Americans, all musicians nor even all black people.

“Remember what the underlying problem is here. Colin took a knee in a very deferential way to express what he sees as systemic oppression and racism in America. He has been blackballed because of that. He has been the victim of collusive activity by 32 owners who’ve decided they’d rather side with the president. … rather than do the right thing.”

Except that factual evidence shows that there’s no systemic oppression and racism in America. Moreover, Kaepernick hasn’t been blackballed because of President Donald Trump. He’s been blackballed because of the American people, who’ve made it loud and clear they can’t stand his and others players’ race-baiting antics.

What’s most stunning about Geragos’ statement is that he didn’t seem slightly thankful that Maroon 5 is at least trying to appease his race-baiting client.

“No one thought about it more than I did. No one put more thought and love into this than I did. … I spoke to many people. Most importantly though, I silenced all the noise and listened to myself, and made my decision about how I felt,” Levine said Thursday in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

He added that he’d make certain SJWs like Kaepernick were heard.

“They will be [heard] — that’s all I want to say because I don’t want to spoil anything. And once again, I like to think that people know where I stand as a human being after two decades doing this. I’m not a speaker. I’m not a public speaker. I do speak, but it’s through the music. My life’s work and what I put out into the universe has been positive and hopefully inspiring.”

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

Levine is at least trying to appease Kaepernick, which is stunning unto itself given that so many Americans feel the unemployed NFL star deserves nothing but a reality check. But even this isn’t enough for Geragos and his client, a man most Americans appear to believe is a “spoiled disgrace.”

What remains unclear is what exactly Levine’s tribute to Kaepernick will entail. Will he and his Maroon 5 bandmates take a knee during the national anthem and disrespect the flag?

What is clear, according to social media, is that trying to bully a band out of an event is far more “oppressive” than the NFL refusing to hire an attention-seeking, ratings-destroying jerk. What’s also clear is that far more people seem to side with Maroon 5 than with Geragos or his client:

But if you’d prefer to side with neither, you could just tune in to Fox News instead Sunday.
