The town hall event Monday evening where Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris came out swinging as a radical far-leftist who wants to eliminate the fossil fuel industry and the private healthcare market allegedly broke a viewing record for CNN.
“Monday night’s CNN Town Hall with Senator Kamala Harris was the most watched cable news single candidate election town hall ever,” CNN announced in a press release Tuesday.
“The town hall averaged 712k among adults 25-54 from 10-11pm, easily topping all cable news competition. CNN was also #1 in prime time in the demos last night. The town hall was moderated by CNN anchor and chief Washington correspondent, Jake Tapper.”
According to the oftentimes fact-averse, conspiracy-theory-peddling network, the event averaged 1.957 million views total, a notable 75 percent increase from CNN’s past four town halls.

Just to be clear, these numbers only pertain to CNN. Despite the network’s disingenuous rhetoric — that the town hall was the “most-watched … ever,” the most-watched single-candidate town hall on cable occurred three years ago, when 2.7 million Americans tuned in to Fox News to watch host Sean Hannity hold a town hall with then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Nevertheless, if CNN’s numbers are accurate — there are plenty of reasons to not trust the network — it suggests that Harris poses a greater threat than most conservatives care to admit.
Like conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh noted earlier this week, the woman is “extremely” dangerous given her radical ideas, the identity boxes she checks and her apparent popularity.
“Hillary Clinton it looked like a rank amateur old maid compared to Kamala Harris … I’m just telling you, she could be very dangerous. She punches a lot of buttons for the left. She checks off a lot of boxes: Female, African-American, identity politics extraordinaire,” he said.
According to journalist and screenwriter Michael Walse, what makes the 54-year-old congresswoman especially dangerous is that she’s like the female Barack Obama, more-so even than Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose policies mirror those of Obama, but whose political style reeks of amateurism.

And then there’s the fact that Harris is a woman.
[S]he will be a formidable candidate in the Democrat primaries,” he opined for PJ Media. “She combines Obama’s race with Hillary’s sex, and as identity politics goes these days, that’s going to be tough to beat. The other bruited candidates — Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden — are superannuated white men who won’t stand a chance once the usual suspects on the Left begin massing, chanting, and rioting.”

Said point-blank that it’s time to “eliminate” the private healthcare market:
Called for criminalizing private gun sales and banning so-called “assault weapons”; suggested that both DACA recipients and their parents be granted amnesty; and voiced opposition to a southern U.S. border wall.
Were she to become president, she would — assuming she had a Democrat-controlled House and Senate to back her up — “fundamentally transform” America in ways that’d make former President Barack Hussein Obama’s transformations look like nothing.
It’s no wonder so many conservatives fear her:
