With Democrats refusing to negotiate in good faith with President Donald Trump on securing the southern border and liberal supporters going on national TV to file their nails amid talk of Americans dying at the hands of those in the country illegally, the stabbing of a Long Island high school student highlights how fundamentally broken our immigration system is.
A 16-year-old student was stabbed after being attacked by three MS-13 members who attend the school, never mind that one of the attackers is 20 years old. Making matters worse, all three gang members had previously been released from custody by federal judges after entering the U.S. illegally.

Ramon Arevalo Lopez, 19, allegedly stabbed the victim in the back, according to ABC affiliate WABC. Lopez, Nobeli Montes Zuniga, 20, and Oscar Canales Molina, 17, were all charged with second-degree assault.

According to police, Lopez entered the United States illegally on December 8, 2016. He was picked up by the Department of Homeland Security in October 2017, but a federal judge released him from custody in June.
Zuniga and Molina entered the country illegally as unaccompanied minors. Molina was picked up by DHS in July 2017 but released by a federal district judge in November 2017.
While Democrats put political gamesmanship over the best interests of the nation and their media allies committed to downplaying the impact of illegal immigration, Americans must ask themselves how many more fellow citizens must fall prey to those who have no business being in the country.

All the while, Democratic Mayor Bill de Blasio is focused on his vow to proved health care to all New York City residents, including illegal immigrants.
