‘My eyes’! The left’s latest effort to redefine masculinity with all-male cheerleaders gets noticed for all the wrong reasons

Masculinity is fast becoming a casualty in the progressive left’s quest to stamp out the perceived evils of patriarchy in America.

Just as they have become accustomed to setting the political narrative in the country, with a little help from their media allies, so too do omnipotent moral busybodies try to establish the parameters of what constitutes a “man.”

Suffice it to say, the John Wayne of yesteryear need not apply, as effeminate soy boys are now hailed as the desired specimen of maleness in America — and we wonder why the U.S. birth rate is at an all-time low?

Enter the all-male cheerleading squad that “is challenging gender norms,” according to the Huffington Post.

The group, called the “Fearleaders,” does a halftime show for a Vienna female roller derby team.

“Fearleading for us means taking fear away. Especially from men. Fear of not being strong enough, not behaving manly enough, not performing masculine enough,” the group’s website states. “We want to get rid of sexual repression, gender inequality, toxic masculinity, homophobia, transphobia … and many other fears.”

The goal, of course, is to mainstream effeminate men and to continue blurring the lines between male and female — which is but a social construct, according to the left. A social construct that conveniently eliminates

In effect, it’s okay to be a wimp or wet noodle eager to take a back seat to strong female figures in their lives. In fact, this may better explain why liberals hate football so much.

The effort is not limited to the Huffington Post Twitter feed, as pop culture glorifies the emasculation of men, as seen in just about every sitcom on television today.

The good news, based on the reaction to the Huff-Po tweet, is that there are still precincts in America where common sense prevails. Ever-shrinking, there may still be hope for mankind yet! Or would that be peoplekind?
