A bald eagle shocked football fans after going slightly off track during the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Saturday.
The original plan was for the eagle, named Clark, to fly in circles around the AT&T Stadium just before the semi-final playoff game between Clemson and Notre Dame. According to Fox News.

Clark, who was supposed to fly directly to his handler took a slight detour through the crowded stadium landing on some unsuspecting Notre Dame fans instead, giving them the thrill of a lifetime.

“I’m a Philadelphia Eagles fan, when I saw the bird land [on Armas], I thought the bird had to be very tired. So I put my hand out to see what happens. And it landed on me. It was very interesting. I was very excited. It was amazing. I couldn’t even believe it.” Nguyen told Sports Illustrated.
The bird did eventually return to its handler and no fans were injured.
Clemson won the game with a final score of 30-3.
