MSNBC finds it ‘stunning’ that ‘six white guys’ are leading candidates to be next WH chief of staff

White guys in post-Obama America have to be excused if they’re beginning to feel like the late, great Rodney Dangerfield, who made famous the line, “Boy, I tell you, I get no respect around here.”

First we had CNN questioning if today is “the right time” for a “white guy” to run for president, and now MSNBC is openly dismissing the virtues of potential candidates for the next White House chief of staff for no other reason than their gender and the color of their skin — the irony being that the left swears gender is a social construct.

After an analysis of a potential candidate to replace White House chief of staff John Kelly, who is leaving his job at the end of the year, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle took exception to the leading candidates being “all white guys.”

“I do want to note, you and I talk about business all the time. That’s a major position and the six people they have put out that are shortlisted are all white guys,” Ruhle told co-anchor Ali Veshi.

“They” being the standard anonymous senior White House sources, we gather.

“I cannot think of one single public company right now, if they had an open senior position like that or a board seat, you would never in 2018 see that the shortlist is six white guys,” she added.

Veshi chimed in to suggest that the White House could have at least added a few token names.

“Even if you don’t pick somebody else, you usually put them on the list just for —” he said, before tailing off.

Ruhle, who made no attempt to hide her disgust at the prospect of a white male being considered, continued to express contempt.

“Isn’t that stunning?” she asked. “That the White House has no problem, ‘Yep, these are our six.’ If you saw a public company put out that list right now, they would get clobbered.”

President Trump said in a Sunday night tweet he will be making his selection soon.

“I am in the process of interviewing some really great people for the position of White House Chief of Staff,” he tweeted. “Fake News has been saying with certainty it was Nick Ayers, a spectacular person who will always be with our #MAGA agenda. I will be making a decision soon!”
