Code Pink’s national co-director Ariel Gold appeared Thursday on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle,” to discuss Palestinian-American activist Linda Sarsour — who has a “pernicious influence” on American politics, according to hoist Laura Ingraham.
Gold, who is Jewish, defended Sarsour’s ties to anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan and defended Marc Lamont Hill, who was fired by CNN for controversial remarks he made about Israel at the United Nations, but the Code Pink zealot was no match for conservative firebrand Michelle Malkin.
Early in the segment, Gold completely flubbed an attempt to regurgitate the left’s (false) talking points that Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, is a white nationalist, confusing him with Shaun King, the one-time Black Lives Matter activist.
She zoned out so bad she couldn’t continue with her train of thought and Ingraham mercifully stepped in to rescue her, but Gold instantly becoming a target of unmerciful ridiculing online.
Well, for that and for Malkin wiping the floor with her in the segment. “Yeah, let me rescue her,” Malkin said.
“There is a type of sharia, an American sharia, a Silicon Valley sharia that seeks to silence those voices,” Malkin continued. “And I think that Ariel Gold in particular has a lot of gall talking about repairing relationships with people, when Ariel Gold and Code Pink have been so much responsible for the kind of toxic anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel that we are seeing.”
“In fact, Ariel Gold has uttered the same phrase that Marc Lamont Hill got fired for: ‘From the river to the sea,’ which is not just a dog whistle, it is a blatant call, it is the most famous call for the extermination of Israel,” she added.
As bad as that was, the ribbing that Gold took on social media was even worse… here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
Oh my gosh this Code Pink lady on Ingraham Angle who mixed up Shaun King and Steve King.

She was looking down at her phone to figure out who she was suppose to talk about. What a train wreck. Embarrassing.

Nobody ever said the fanatics at @codepink were bright. I doubt there was ever a filament in their bulb to begin with.
