Marco Rubio is ALL OVER the shady voter scandals in Florida and Joe Scarborough doesn’t like it one bit

With the outcome of Florida’s midterm election held hostage by two incompetent South Florida counties controlled by Democrats, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has been all over the shenanigans at play, which drew the ire of MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough.

Unconcerned about the “rampant fraud” that may be taking place, as Florida Gov. Rick Scott characterized events in Broward County, where a circuit court judge ruled earlier this year the supervisor of elections broke federal and state law by destroying ballots, Scarborough took to Twitter to claim that Rubio was “fighting against every citizen’s vote being counted in Florida.”

Scarborough ran with the false narrative Friday morning on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” blatantly covering for the highly questionable actions taking place in both Broward County and Palm Beach County.

“You talk about Trumpism, [Rubio] actually saying, and [Gov.] Rick Scott and [President] Donald Trump, they’re all arm and arm, should and shoulder, saying that it’s a conspiracy for every vote to be counted,” Scarborough said, likening it to “third-world country stuff.”

How about we talk about third-world propaganda? Flipping reality on its head in such an egregious manner is precisely what whips people into a frenzy — but then, that may be the intended goal.

Scott, who defeated incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson by nearly 60,000 votes saw that lead drop all the way down to just over 15,000 votes, and Ron DeSantis saw his lead over media darling Andrew Gillum in the gubernatorial race shrink to 36,333 — enough to trigger a recount.

The first flip has already occurred as a result of the extracurricular voting, with the Democrat candidate for Florida Commissioner of Agriculture overcoming a deficit of around 4,000 votes to take the lead over the apparent Republican winner.

Gov. Scott angrily characterized events in South Florida as “rampant fraud” during a press conference late Thursday and called on the Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement to launch an investigation.

“Late Tuesday night, our win was projected to be around 57,000 votes,” the governor noted. “By Wednesday morning, that lead dropped to 38,000. By Wednesday evening, it was around 30,000. This morning, it was around 21,000. Now, it is 15,000.”

“On election night, Broward County said there were 634,000 votes cast,” he added. “At 1 a.m. today, there were 695,700 ballots cast on election day. At 2:30 p.m. today, the number was up to 707,223 ballots cast on Election Day. And we just learned, that the number has increased to 712,840 ballots cast on Election Day. In Palm Beach County, there are 15,000 new votes found since election night.”

Rubio was not about to let the dastardly claim by the liberal talking head who called himself a Republican until last year stand without challenge.

“When did I ask anyone to stop counting?” the lawmaker responded in a tweet. “And how is criticizing repeated election failures by same election official a fight to stop vote counting?

“Why can’t #BrowardCounty elections do what 65 of 67 counties did, count all votes in timely way & in compliance with #Florida law?”

A Sun-Sentinel reported noted that Rubio was correct in questioning why Broward County stands out among 67 counties in being able to competently tabulate votes.

Of course, Rubio’s critics pointed to an earlier tweet where the senator said Broward County’s incompetence “has opened the door for lawyers to come here & try to steal a seat in the U.S. Senate & Florida Cabinet.”

It was just part of a long and important thread Rubio used to sound the alarm:

Never mind that the county was STILL finding ballots 48 hours AFTER the election ended and refused to say how many ballots were left to be counted — at least, until Gov. Rick Scott announced late Thursday that he filed a lawsuit and called on the Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement to launch an investigation.

Within an hour of Scott’s remarks, where he spoke of “rampant fraud,” the county’s extracurricular counting suddenly reached bottom.

Ironically, the state’s governor used even stronger language that Rubio did.

“I will not stand idly by while unethical liberals try to steal an election,” Scott angrily said.

Rubio has kept a spotlight on the shenanigans going on in South Florida, where he calls home, since election night, as seen below.

But there have been no calls to stop the actual count, as Scarborough claimed — seems liberals could not care less about possible fraud in a county where found votes break 70/30 in favor of Democrats.
