Democratic Party invites Alec Baldwin as keynote speaker, despite his past. He calls for overthrowing Trump’s government.

It’s one thing for an unhinged left-wing actor to portray a true-to-life character is a Saturday Night Live skit, as Alec Baldwin does in playing President Donald Trump, and a whole other thing when he espouses extreme points of view as an individual.

That Baldwin did so while speaking at a major New Hampshire Democratic Party fundraiser makes his comments all the more egregious,  but not as egregious as the state party selecting him as a keynote speaker, given his troubling history.

“In an orderly and formal way, and lawful way, we need to overthrow the government of the United States under Donald Trump,” Baldwin stated Sunday night at the event, Fox News reported.

Does the fact that the often ill tempered actor couched his call to “overthrow” the U.S. government — see coup — by saying to do it in a “lawful way?” Can you imagine the media overreaction if someone had made a similar suggestion during President Barack Obama’s two terms?

Baldwin rallied the crowd to vote next month, saying “this election and the one that follows in 2020 will be the most consequential elections since the election of FDR,” according to Fox News.

And he repeated his call to overthrow Trump.

“It is time to overthrow the government of Donald Trump — not in a violent way or unlawful way — but it must be overthrown nonetheless.”

“Let’s make America great again by making Donald Trump a casino operator again,” Baldwin urged the crowd.

But the fact the New Hampshire Democrats picked him to speak is something, given the temperamental actor’s rich history of abusive behavior.

Such as in 2007 when he called his then 11-year-old daughter “a rude, thoughtless little pig.”

Or when he suggested in a 1998 appearance on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” that in any other country “we would stone [Republican Rep.] Henry Hyde to death and we [would] go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and children.”

Hyde played a leading role in the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.

There are also the homophobic slurs, sexist attacks on women and physically abusive behavior toward members of the media.

All of which proves that the Democrat Party is where hypocrisy calls home, as Baldwin is still the toast of the liberal media — the liberal moonbat offered his not-so-favorable views on potential Democratic opponents to challenge Trump in 2020.

“I don’t think anybody that’s a front runner now of the top six, seven, eight names that I’ve seen, I don’t think that any one them is going to have an easy time of it,” he said.

While the actor told reporters he has “always dreamed” of running for office, he said his wife “told me she’d divorce me if I ran for office.”

But Baldwin told radio host Howard Stern in June that he would beat Trump if he made a 2020 presidential bid
