Antifa vandals answered Hillary Clinton’s clarion call earlier in the week when they engaged in an attack on the New York City office for the state’s Republican Party.
The Metropolitan Republican Club’s windows were smashed, its locks were broken and its doors were spray painted with anarchy symbols, Fox News reported.
In addition to the vandalism, a note was left behind threatening violence against the GOP, saying the party was being put “on notice.”
“Our attack is merely a beginning. We are not passive, we are not civil, and we will not apologize,” it stated.
The use of the word “civil” coming just two days after Clinton’s interview with CNN International’s Christiane Amanpour.
“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” she said in Oxford, England, speaking of the Republican Party.

It’s hard to imagine that a Republican politician would recover from such a remark that would so quickly produce a violent reaction.
The note left at the GOP office suggested the attack on the building was the result of Gavin McInnes, the founder of the Proud Boys, being invited to speak there.
“The Metropolitan Republican Club chose to invite a hipster-fascist clown to dance for them, content to revel in their treachery against humanity,” the note said.
“Tonight, we put the Republican Party on notice, in defiance to the policy of mass misery they championed,” the unhinged message began. “The US government has established concentration camps around the country for Latino people, shamelessly murder black people, and continues its war machine that has slaughtered Muslim people with impunity for decades.”

In effect, Antifa had to engage in fascist behavior to prevent alleged fascist behavior.
Three people were arrested in New York City following violent clashes after a speech by McInnes.
The Metropolitan Republican Club responded to the vandalism and threats to say it “will not be intimidated by violence, threats, or hate speech.”
“We will continue to fight for freedom of speech and liberty here in New York City and all across this great nation,” the group said in a statement on Twitter.
