More violence: Nicolle Wallace proudly admits that she encouraged Jeb! to punch Trump in the face

Amid a growing flair for violent rhetoric from the left in the wake of their failed 11th hour ambush of now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace laughingly recounted how she told failed 2016 GOP presidential candidate Jeb! Bush that he should have punched then-candidate Donald Trump in the face.

“I told Jeb Bush after that debate that I thought he should have punched [Trump] in the face,” Wallace proudly declared.

“He said, ‘What do you think I should have done?'” the MSNBC political analyst added. “I said, ‘I think you should have punched him in the face and then gotten out of the race. You would have been a hero.'”

A left jab, no doubt. The irony here being that Trump’s nickname for Bush was “low-energy Jeb.”

Wallace, who served as President George W. Bush’s communications director, believe it or not, was responding to former RNC head Michael Steele, who rivals Ann Navarro as CNN’s favorite anti-Trump Republican, who brought up the Trump-Bush feud during the 2016 GOP primary.

Her rhetoric drew a response from the president’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., who asked: “Is anyone shocked that the left wants people to resort to violence?”

Of course, Trump’s critics were quick to claim that Wallace is a Republican. She has called herself a “non-practicing Republican.”

Wallace’s violent suggestion follows former Attorney General Eric Holder urged his supporters this week to “kick”  Republicans, and Hillary Clinton boldly declaring that you “cannot be civil” toward the GOP.

Here’s a quick sampling of the reactions to Wallace’s remark from Twitter, including some who dare to compare it to “mob” behavior:
