Former White House communications director Hope Hicks is heading to Fox News.
Coming out the winner in the Hicks sweepstakes, New Fox announced Monday that Hicks has been hired as chief communications officer and executive vice president of the streamlined FOX cable broadcasting company.
The new company includes Fox News, Fox Sports, Fox Business and other properties. Her appointment will take effect upon the completion of the sale of film and television assets to the Walt Disney Company in 2019 — Disney is buying much of 21st Century Fox.
Hicks, 29, resigned from the Trump administration earlier this year after replacing Anthony Scaramucci when he was fired. She’ll reportedly be based in Los Angeles.
It was also announced that Danny O’Brien will serve as executive vice president and head of government relations for the revamped company.
Hicks and O’Brien will report to Viet Dinh, Fox Chief Legal and Policy Officer.
“Hope and Danny are proven leaders and world-class public affairs professionals,” he said. “Together they will define and project FOX’s voice to our relevant communities.”
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders took to Twitter to inform Fox just how fortunate they are.
“FOX won’t find anyone smarter or more talented than Hope Hicks. So happy for my friend. They are beyond lucky to have you and the East Coast misses you already,” she tweeted.

It goes without saying that the Trump Derangement Syndrome crowd has its panties all in a wad.
This being the same crowd that sits silent while CNN and MSNBC employ countless former Obama administration officials and other notable Democrats.
Hope Hicks will be a key deputy to FOX CEO Lachlan Murdoch. Lots of intrigue given the Trump-Murdoch 🤝 https://t.co/sAtPRol6df

Hope Hicks joining New Fox as EVP and Chief Communications Officer is yet another illustration that Fox News is not a news network, but rather a partisan propaganda operation aimed at serving Trump's interests. Also underscores that Fox News is already gearing up for 2020.

Is Hope Hicks going from the White House to Fox considered moving jobs?

Hope Hicks proves that FOX News & the Trump WH are just one big game of Red Rover.

Hope Hicks joining Fox News as their new Communications Chief makes sense.
She admitted to lying for Trump in her last job, so she's perfectly qualified to lie for Trump in her new job.
