NY Dem HIRES woman who was FIRED for outright racist, homophobic remarks. Crickets from lib media

The American mainstream media are perpetually full of it, and the way they ignored a New York Democrat congressman’s decision to hire someone with a history of making bigoted remarks proves it, especially when you compare it to the way they’ve treated Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis.

According to the Murdoch-owned New York Post, which was the only mainstream news purveyor to highlight this story, Democrat Rep. Tom Suozzi has hired a woman who previously posted offensive remarks to social media about blacks and homosexuals.

That woman, Mariah Dignan, was terminated from her position as an aide to Nassau County executive Laura Curran last October because of those very tweets.

“Curran campaign scheduler Mariah Dignan tweeted slurs demeaning to gays and blacks in conversations with fellow hockey fans almost five years ago,” the Post reported at the time.

The tweets specifically referred to homosexuals as “fa–ots” and black people as “ni–as.”

Yet as of August, Dignan now reportedly works for Suozzi as his congressional scheduler, much to the chagrin of some Democrats: ““I’m not saying that people shouldn’t be given a second chance, but do we have to put her on the federal payroll?” one unnamed political operator said to the Post.

What’s fascinating about this story is that no other major outlet has picked it up. Look:

Yet nearly every outlet that chose to ignore this story rushed to cover remarks made Wednesday by DeSantis that they’ve deemed to be racist, never mind evidence to the contrary.

Appearing on Fox News after Tuesday’s big primary win, DeSantis used the term “monkey” while speaking about building on the economic success of the current governor, Rick Scott, who’s currently running for the U.S. Senate.

“We have to work hard to make sure we continue Florida going in a good direction,” DeSantis said. “Let’s build off the success of Governor Scott. The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting the state. That is not going to work, that’s not going to be good for Florida.”

DeSantis meant that Floridians should not screw up their state’s economic success by voting for his opponent, Democrat nominee Andrew Gillum, a staunch socialist who just happens to be black. The congressman had clearly used the phrase “monkey this up” as an idiom. Nothing more. Nothing less.

But instead of being honest, the media chose to weave a patently false narrative accusing DeSantis of being a racist:

It’s stunning — absolutely stunning — the lengths to which the glaringly left-wing media will go to smear conservatives, all while they willfully ignore the actual racism and bigotry perpetrated by their own political allies, including Dignan, among many others.

Recall that in the case of anti-white bigot Sarah Jeong, the left-wing sycophants at The New York Times went ahead and outright hired her to write for them. This is the media, ladies and gentlemen, and unfortunately for those Americans who prize real journalism, it seems these days that the entire media are just as bad as CNN. Sad.
