To hear the mainstream media tell it, every black American hates President Donald Trump because he’s an unrepentant racist. And how do they know he’s a racist? Because former White House official turned contradicting gossip queen Omarosa Manigault-Newman said so.
Except that if you ask pollsters like Rasmussen, which use scientific methods to discern the nation’s pulse, you’ll quickly discover that the “blacks hate Trump” narrative touted by the media is a bold-faced lie — perhaps even the lie of the century.
According to Rasmussen Reports’ latest numbers, over a third of all black Americans approve of the president’s job performance.
This is notable for four reasons. One, it marks the highest black support rating to be earned by any Republican president. Two, the president’s approval rating among blacks has doubled in a year. And three, only 8 percent of black voters chose Trump during the last presidential election.

And last but not least, these results suggest that Omarosa’s attacks on the president aren’t just backfiring — they’re perhaps driving more black voters into Trump’s arms.
Because of what this poll ultimately means for the beleaguered Democrat Party, of course liberals have already launched an unofficial smear campaign to discredit it.

If they don’t trust Rasmussen, perhaps they might trust the left-wing National Association for the Advancement of Colored People instead? One of its recent polls found that 21 percent of blacks support the president. While this is considerately lower than Rasmussen’s results — a fact that might be attributable to the NAACP’s left-wing bias — it’s still impressive nonetheless.
These results suggest that race-baiting rhetoric by the likes of Omarosa — who’s been claiming to be in possession of a tape that shows the president uttering the n-word — and other notable figures, particularly in the mainstream media, hasn’t been working.
If anything, maybe their rhetoric has been driving more blacks to #WalkAway from the Democrat Party? Conservative firebrand Candace Owens certainly thinks so. Watch as she hands out participation trophies in celebration of Rasmussen’s latest poll numbers.
Just to be clear, Trump’s approval rating among blacks is 36 percent, not 39 percent. Also, it’s a shame Candace forgot to mention Omarosa, because as the media’s most notorious hound “dog,” she most certainly deserved a prize.
