Chris Cuomo delivers unbelievable monologue in defense of violent Antifa: ‘All punches are not equal’

First it was members of the violent MS-13 gang the left saw fit to defend, now it’s the domestic terrorist group Antifa, which regularly attacks police and even members of the media.

As hard as it is to believe that anyone could defend the actions of the fascist group that claims to be fighting fascism, leave it to CNN anchor Chris Cuomo to fill the gap.

With Antifa bringing their violent road show to Charlottesville over the weekend, the CNN anchor first covered his “six” by proclaiming that any violence is wrong, before declaring that “all punches are not equal.”

“In the eyes of the law, yes,” Cuomo said. “But in the eyes of good and evil, here’s the argument: If you’re a punk who comes and starts trouble in a mask and hurt people, you’re not about any virtuous cause. You’re just somebody who’s going to be held to the standard of doing something wrong. But when someone comes to call out bigots and it gets hot, even physical, are they equally wrong as the bigot they are fighting? I argue no.”

Of course, he makes this determination being among those who reserve the right to decide what is and is not morally just — the liberal media.

“The bigots are wrong to hit. Antifa or whoever… are malcontent or misguided, they are also wrong to hit, but fighting hate is right,” Cuomo continued. “And in a clash between hate and those who oppose it, those who oppose it are on the side of right.”

As for describing Antifa for what it is, Fox News’ Lou Dobbs was up to the task, even if he did draw the left’s ire for using the phrase “so-called white supremacist.”

“The radical left, militant group Antifa reeking havoc over the weekend in Virginia and our nation’s capitol,” Dobbs said to open a segment on Monday’s program.

“In Charlottesville, Virginia, 40 white nationalists showed up for the ‘Unite the Right’ rally,” Dobbs noted. “But were largely out numbered by Antifa thugs, some of whom had run ins with police, physically attacked the media — a station from Raleigh, North Carolina had an audio cord sliced by the mob, and an NBC crew had their camera smacked around in Washington, D.C., by an angry Antifa thug, or activist if you prefer.”

“In Washington, D.C., where the Antifa mob numbered around 200, they heavily out numbered 2 dozen so-called white supremacists they were supposedly there to confront,” he continued. “They took their thuggery to a new level, threatening to kill the president.”

As for those threats on the life of President Donald Trump, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson highlighted a number of them captured by The Daily Caller’s Benny Johnson.
