You won’t hear about it from “fake news” CNN, but on Saturday far-left thugs, reportedly affiliated with the terrorist group Antifa, marched in Charlottesville, Virginia, while beating up cops, attacking reporters and chanting anti-police slogans.
Here’s just one example that shows the thugs chanting “cops and the Klan go hand in hand.”:
CNN, NBC, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Huffington Post and other demonstrably far-left outlets ignored this footage, choosing instead to focus on an upcoming Unite the Right rally scheduled to occur Sunday in Washington, D.C.
These outlets also ignored footage that showed the left-wing thugs assaulting a local police officer. Fast forward to the 20 second mark in the video below to see the footage for yourself:
But it gets significantly worse. It’s one thing for the media to ignore left-wing thugs smearing and attacking the police. It’s another for them to ignore thugs doing the same to one of their own. Yet that’s exactly what happened.
Video footage posted Saturday evening to NBC reporter Cal Perry’s Twitter feed showed one left-wing thug calling him a “snitch ass news bitch” and then attacking him.

According to NewsBusters, NBC never even aired this clip. Nor did any other mainstream news outlet. They all ignored it. Why? Because they adamantly refuse to acknowledge the politically motivated violence committed by their own side, i.e., the Democrat side.
In some cases the left-wing media even support Antifa’s violent antics. Last year “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd allowed a left-wing Darmouth “lecturer” named Mark Bray to appear on air and defend Antifa’s tactics.
“So anti-fascism goes back to the beginning of the 20th century when leftists of all stripes fought back against Mussolini and Hitler,” Bray said. “The main perspective of Antifa is essentially that rather than simply waiting for the threat to materialize, you stop it from the beginning.”
In other words, it’s OK to use violence against non-leftists because non-leftists are Nazis equivalent to Mussolini and Hitler (even when they’re black). And this is why, as an example, The Hill described Saturday’s protests in Charlottesville as “peaceful”:
