Remember when Dems laughed at #WalkAway movement? They won’t be laughing after THIS poll

Citing a tweet from Rasmussen Reports showing that black support for President Donald Trump has doubled in the last year, the one woman who can almost single-handedly take credit for that reality noted that Democrats are laughing no more.

Turning Point USA’s Candace Owens, who managed to bring Kanye West aboard with her sales pitch that “black Americans are slaves on the Democratic Party plantation,” as the Washington Post described her views, is one of the most influential voices in the #WalkAway movement and she was quick to share the Rasmussen poll.

“WOW! Black support for has DOUBLED since last year,” she tweeted.

“Do you all remember when people laughed at me? When people said the idea of us blacks waking up to the reality of our mental enslavement was a delusion? They aren’t laughing right now,” Owens added.

Despite mainstream media reports that the Dem exodus, specifically #WalkAway movement, was little more than Russian bots stirring up trouble, Owens has been predicting “a major black exit” for some time and noted as much in a second tweet.

“I’ve sat down with countless reporters that have questioned my assertion that a major black exit from the Democrat Party was transpiring,” she wrote. “They painted me as foolish and insinuated that there was no concrete evidence.”

Recent developments suggest a sea change could be underway, as seen when a black pastor participating in a White House roundtable discussion on prison reform said President Donald Trump was possibly the “most pro-black president” he’d seen in his lifetime, and that included America’s first black president, Barack Obama.

That assessment coming from Pastor Darrel Scott, a co-founder of President Trump’s National Diversity Coalition.

Speaking of Pastor Scott, he responded to Owens tweet, saying: “He who laughs last, laughs best.”

Another indication that black Americans are growing tired of the Democratic Party was seen in Chicago, where residents marched against gun violence and demanded Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s resignation.

The mayor is receiving the backlash in part for favoring illegal immigrants over US citizens — a staple of the Democratic Party. Low skilled illegal immigrants compete with many African-Americans in the job market.

There continues to be plenty of support for Owens online, as well as for the poll results shared by Rasmussen.
