Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee took to social media on Friday to slam CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta after the journalist made himself the center of attention at yet another daily press briefing on Thursday when he got into a tense exchange with President Trump’s spokesperson, Sarah Sanders — who just happens to be Huckabee’s daughter.
Acosta stomped out of the press briefing when the White House press secretary was not willing to say what he wanted her to say.

After a clever reference about The New York Times hiring a racist, anti-white zealot, Huckabee remarked on the exchange, noting that “little Jim Acosta” was the bug in that scenario and his daughter was the windshield.
“I know I’m as objective about @PressSec as @NYTimes new hateful, racist hire Sarah Jeong is about white people, but I still think @PressSec is the WINDSHIELD and little Jim Acosta is the BUG,” Huckabee tweeted.

Huckabee had ripped Acosta in an earlier tweet, suggesting the elitist reporter was in need of a safe space.
“Breaking wind from CNN!” he tweeted. “Jim Acosta suffers severe nose bleed from the elevation of his high horse. Taken to safe space and provided with Play Dough, a popsicle, pictures of a pony to color and a puppy.”

The Huckabee dropped two tweets on Acosta a good indication of how perturbed he was about the way some in the media continue to treat his daughter.
While social media has evolved into little more than a putrid wasteland of hate, there were plenty of followers who stood behind Huckabee and his assessment of Acosta, as seen on Twitter:
