‘You are a walking train wreck of a lawyer.’ Michael Avenatti and Rudy Giuliani square off on Twitter

Somehow, it’s only fitting that President Donald Trump’s lawyer and an attorney antagonist go at it, one another on Twitter.

Rudy Giuliani took to social media on Thursday to call attorney Michael Avenatti a “proven liar,” suggesting that he no longer has a case with the release of the Michael Cohen-Chris Cuomo tape, where Trump’s former attorney admits he paid Avenatti’s client, porn star Stormy Daniels, “on my own.”

“Please be warned that Avenati is becoming desperate since he is being ignored,” Giuliani tweeted. “The Cohen-Cuomo tape makes clear Daniel claim is dead and with it Avenati’s meal ticket. Most media now consider him too much of a proven liar to put on. Any reliance is gross negligence.”

Well, that did not sit well with the brash, attention-seeking attorney.

“You are a walking train wreck of a lawyer Rudy. Each time you open your mouth, it is a disaster,” Avenatti tweeted in response. “Where are all the tapes? Release them! Our case is over because Trump’s criminal co-conspirator said so? Let’s debate the facts and the law – any show any time. Put up or shut up!”

Wow! No love lost there.

Without realizing it, Avenatti all but proved Giuliani right about him being ignored when he then suggested the two of them appear on Fox News’ “Hannity” to discuss the case.

“Call your good buddy @seanhannity and let’s go on his show and discuss the facts and the law relating to Stormy Daniels, Michael Cohen and Mr. Trump. Let’s do it any day next week. And if you will not do this, you need to pipe down and go crawl back under that rock,” Avenatti said in a follow up tweet.

And while Giuliani, 74, had a stellar career as a prosecutor, Twitter was certain age has caught up to him and that Avenatti, 47, would best him.

One thing is certain, it would entertain the masses better than bread and circuses ever could.

Libs might think Giuliani will lose the battle, but many of them are too young to remember how he turned around America’s biggest city, and triumphantly led it through its toughest time.

Stay tuned.
