Ocasio-Cortez’s cringe-worthy interview that can’t be undone. A young Nancy Pelosi, perhaps.

Held up as the future of the Democratic Party, New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become the darling of the left as democratic socialist.

But is she ready for prime time?

Not according to a recent video clip showing a persistent journalist pressing Ocasio-Cortez on her description of Israel as the occupiers of Palestine as she commented on “an increasing crisis of humanitarian conditions.”

It sounds like she’s learning to do interviews in the classic Nancy Pelosi-style; babble incoherently and pretend nobody will notice. (See video below post.)

When asked to clarify what she meant by that description, Ocasio-Cortez was lost.

“I think, what I meant is that the settlements that are increasing in some of these areas and places where Palestinians are experiencing difficulty in access to housing and homes,” she babbled.

When pressed again, the Democrat conceded that she didn’t really know what she was talking about, as Daily Wire reporter Ryan Saavedra tweeted, saying she was “not the expert on geopolitics on this issue.”

“Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez attacks Israel, calls them the occupiers of Palestine,” Saavedra tweeted. “When pressed on what she meant she struggled to give an answer and then admitted she does not know what she is talking about.”

Nancy Pelosi would be proud.

And while the interviewer was impressed with Ocasio-Cortez’s honesty, social media users had a whole other take on events.

Hell, it was ugly that even CNN reporter Chris Cillizza felt compelled to comment:
