According to Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro, disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok’s alleged crimes against America transcend beyond him just exchanging 50,000 anti-Trump text messages with his paramour, FBI attorney Lisa Page, during the presidential election in 2016.
After reading some of Strzok’s texts during her opening monologue Saturday evening — including the one in which he cited an “insurance policy” against then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s potential election — Pirro argued that his real target had been the American people. Namely, the 60+ million Americans who eventually voted for Trump.
“Strzok wasn’t trying to prevent Trump from winning,” the judge said. “What he was doing was even worse. He was talking about having a plan to effectively disenfranchise the voters who elected Trump. Should Trump win, forget democracy, forget the people. Those voters who Strzok doesn’t like are idiots. He said so himself. In a texting to his mistress.”
Correct. In his text exchanges with his mistress, Strzok characterized Trump’s supporters as ignorant redneck Walmart shoppers who smell.
“If his candidate of choice didn’t win — the one he helped avoid criminal liability — he was going to abuse the tour we entrusted him to insure that it didn’t matter,” Pirro continued, referring to then-Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Clinton was at the time under investigation for shady behavior she had engaged in during her tenure as the secretary of state from 2009 to 2013. Despite the copious amount of evidence against her, the FBI eventually let her off the hook.
“If the unthinkable were to happen, his insurance policy would help deal with it. The insurance policy, my friends, is the Russia collusion investigation,” Pirro concluded her monologue.
This line of reasoning makes sense given, one, the investigation’s inability to procure a single piece of concrete evidence linking the president to the Russia, and two, the investigation’s own history of bias. Strzok himself served on the team until special counselor Robert Mueller became aware of his text messages last year.
There have also been reports of Mueller primarily stacking his investigation team with Democrats, including one top prosecutor who sent an email to outgoing acting Attorney General Sally Yates last year praising her for standing up to Trump. Another one of Mueller’s team members previously represented Obama official Ben Rhodes during the Benghazi investigation.
Weighed alongside Mueller’s out-of-control behavior, one can’t help but wonder if perhaps Pirro’s reigns true. And if it is indeed true, then the question becomes this: What do congressional Republicans plan to do, if anything, to stop this biased investigation?
