Porn star Stormy Daniels was arrested late Wednesday at a Ohio strip club on three counts of misdemeanor sex offenses.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was performing at Sirens Gentlemen’s Club in Columbus when she was charged with allowing customers to touch her, NBC News reported — it’s against the law in Ohio to touch a nude or semi-nude dancer.
The porn star’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti, took to social media to say his client was touched in “a non-sexual manner” while on stage.

The attention-seeking attorney took a break from exploiting illegal immigrant children separated from their parents — Avenatti’s latest cause du jour — to claim that Daniels’ arrest was a politically motivated “setup” that “reeks of desperation.”

“Just rcvd word that my client
@StormyDaniels was arrested in Columbus Ohio whole performing the same act she has performed across the nation at nearly a hundred strip clubs,” Avenatti tweeted. “This was a setup & politically motivated. It reeks of desperation. We will fight all bogus charges.”

Avenatti, who would know a thing or two about being desperate, also took issue with law enforcement officers in Ohio monitoring strip clubs for alleged criminal activity.
“She was arrested for allegedly allowing a customer to touch her while on stage in a non sexual manner!” the attorney tweeted. “Are you kidding me? They are devoting law enforcement resources to sting operations for this? There has to be higher priorities!!!

Daniels, who claims she had a sexual affair with Donald Trump — the president has denied the allegation — was topless and wearing a G-string when she “knowingly” touched a female Columbus police officer’s buttocks and breast, and put her chest in the officer’s face while “on the premise of a sexually oriented business,” according to charging documents from the Franklin County Municipal Court obtained by WBNS.

And despite Avenatti’s protests, as social media user Matt Couch observed, you can expect to be arrested “when you grab the *ss of an undercover cop!!”
Couch goes on to remind his followers that Daniels “is the Democrats Champion.”

Daniels is scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning in Franklin County Municipal Court.

She’s also scheduled to “perform” again Thursday night at Sirens — get your tickets early!

Speaking of performing, comedian and all around left-wing whack job Kathy Griffin quickly came to her newfound friends defense, comparing the adult film actress to comic legend Lenny Bruce, who may or may not be flattered by the comparison.
