A woman was caught on camera launching projectile fireworks into a group of pedestrians walking on the streets of Crown Heights, a borough of Brooklyn in New York City, Monday night around 11:00 pm.
The video posted to Instagram shows the frenzied crowd as they rush to get away from the woman while she follows them around the corner and up the street.
Police are working to identify the woman seen holding the fireworks in the video, she could face charges of reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of fireworks, according to The New York Post.
Anyone who knows anything about the disturbing incident is encouraged to call the NYC Police Dept.
All consumer fireworks including sparklers are illegal to purchase or use in New York City.
