How can you tell that Democrats now fear President Donald Trump will weather the bias-driven Robert Mueller Russian collusion probe as well as he weathered the porn star debacle featuring Stormy Daniels?
The level of insanity seen from the left in attacking Trump and his supporters.
Hell, even Fox News has been drawn into apologizing to the perpetually offended left, as seen when host Ed Henry felt compelled to distance himself and the network from a phrase commonly used in the south without any intended offensive.
As in, “You’re out of your cotton-pickin’ mind,” which is what ex-Trump campaign official David Bossie said in response to black Democratic strategist Joel Payne, who effectively called Bossie and the Trump White House racists.
“You don’t have to be a golden retriever to hear all the dog whistles coming out of the White House these days and from my friend David here,” Payne said.
But he was quick to take offense to Bossie’s counter.
“Cotton-picking mind?” Payne interjected. “Brother, let me tell you something, I got some relatives who picked cotton and I’m not going to sit back and let you attack me on TV like that.”
After the break, Henry commented on the earlier exchange.
“I just want to address what happened in that debate, obviously got fiery, David Bossie used a phrase that clearly offended Joel Paine and offended many others,” he said.
“I don’t know what David meant by it,” the Fox News host continued. “You know, what went back and forth between the two of them — I’ve known David a long time — I’ll let him address exactly what he said.
“But I want to make sure that Fox News and this show, myself, we don’t agree with that particular phrase,” Henry added. “It was obviously offensive and these debates get fiery, that’s unfortunate. We like to have honest and spirited debates, but not phrases like that, obviously. And so I will just leave it at that.”
Part of the problem in America is that we allow the hypersensitive left to define our language, undermining what is or is not acceptable
The reaction online showed that Americans have grown tired of all the pandering to liberals who take offense at every turn.
Bossie apologized via Twitter:
During a heated segment on Fox & Friends today, I should have chosen my words more carefully and never used the offensive phrase that I did. I apologize to Joel Payne, Fox News and its viewers.

Here’s a sampling is responses from Twitter:
@foxandfriends I just witnessed the spirited debate hosted by Ed Henry. David used the term "cotton pickin" mind and immediately the black liberal was offended. Ed Henry apologized. However I was offended by the black liberal calling all Trump supporters Nazi. Where is my apology

What was the phrase @edhenry ? I watched the whole thing and didn’t hear anything offensive. @foxandfriends

@edhenry Well I'm offended that y'all are offended! Ridiculous. "Cotton-picking-mind" is NOT racist. I've said it all my life with NEVER a racial thought attached to it. @ffweekend

Ed don’t apologize for the cotton pickin mind comment. That was not racist. Only that guy Joel would take it that way because he is racist. Don’t have that guy on the shows anymore. He has a big chip on his shoulder and doesn’t really contribute anything but a racist view
