Blinded by Trump-hate April Ryan makes an unwise move. Now, she’s scrambling to cover her tracks

The more President Donald Trump denounces the “fake news media” in this country, the more determined the press seems to be to prove him right.

The latest example of this was seen Wednesday when April Ryan, the White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks, was busted tweeting what was easily proven to be a bold face lie.

In fact, the CNN political analyst was forced to backtrack on her claim that Trump was “heckled and booed” at a White House ceremony intended to celebrate the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, but became a display of honor for America after the president rescinded the team’s invitation.

The truth was that a protester in the crowd heckled Trump and the crowd responded by booing the man.

More than three hours later, after others had put out what really happened, with her journalistic integrity in the dirt, Ryan rushed a “breaking” tweet to report a protester was being booed, not Trump.

The reporter best known for her frequent confrontations and interruptions at the daily press briefings hosted by White House press secretary Sarah Sanders — why Ryan has not been banned from these events is a mystery — deleted her earlier tweet that stated “reporters on the South Lawn have confirmed.”

Further covering her tracks, Ryan tweeted:

While Ryan was getting her Trump hate on by reporting the false information about the president, she was called out by, of all people, a CNN producer.

CNN producer Noah Gray also shared a video of what actually took place:

In a series of tweets, Gray added more context to what took place:

NBC also captured the incident on video, with the booing coming after the protester called out, “Stop hiding behind the armed services and the national anthem!”

All of which exposed Ryan as a political activist, not a journalist, as was noted on Twitter:

“This is not journalism, this is activism. Far too many Journalists are so hungry for a way to attack @realDonaldTrump that they jump to “report” anything they can to hurt him without actually fact checking to see if it’s true.@CNN is the home of Fake News,” the tweet seen below reads.

But this is the same “journalist” who said first lady Melania Trump “is not culturally American,” and shared a conspiracy theory suggesting President Trump is running a child-trafficking ring.

And on the same day as her “fake news” tweet, Ryan got into a tense exchange with Sanders, who essentially told the anti-Trump zealot she can’t answer her question if she doesn’t shut her mouth.

After admonishing the reporter for being rude and interrupting, Sanders said, “I would be happy to answer it if you would stop talking long enough to let me do that.”

Here’s a sampling of the responses to Ryan being called an activist from Twitter:
